Caleb Williams demanding part ownership
transplantbillsfan replied to CDogg20's topic in The Stadium Wall
Are you making this up? Dude was terrible last weekend. -
Are people really that unhappy with our 4-2 Bills?
transplantbillsfan replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall
No. I'm not. No undefeated teams and we all need to start understanding that it really is ONLY about Ws and "how you look in the W" doesn't even start mattering until the end of the year when we're in the playoffs. And yes... we'll make the playoffs... duh!!! -
You watched the whole game, right? He's fine.

Our next opponent….The NY Football Giants
transplantbillsfan replied to Beast's topic in The Stadium Wall
So this is one of those "I'm not really worried but what if...?" scenarios: What if the Giants come to play out of their minds in a "win one for the gipper!!!" situations and the Giants actually win I can't really see it happening and the Bills getting caught flat footed after last week. But I'm going to this game and that would make for a miserable car ride back to Rochester and a horrible night's sleep. -

Thanks. It was no criticism. @HappyDays is a fantastic poster. I was just curious. -

Appreciate the info, but where'd you hear this? -
How good is the Bills new starting defense?
transplantbillsfan replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yes... still a top 5-10 unit. -

Because he said our prospects won't be good if we get a W but it's not a blowout. If you watched KC in their last 2 games you can put it together. -
I don't have an issue trading a 3rd for him, but the problem is the contract extension we'd have to sign him to. Considering between Josh and Diggs alone the cap hit next year will be north of $70m I don't really think it's feasible to expect any additions to our WR corps to be anything other than a rookie and crazy cheap vets.

Why? Have you watched Kansas City the last 2 weeks? They're still pretty much universally "the best team in the NFL." I want a blowout cause I'm going to the game... but playing a backup QB is one of those weird variables that can make this game a game. Just win baby! -
2023 Night Home Game logistical questions
transplantbillsfan replied to transplantbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Does anyone know if the main lot opens exactly 4 hours before the game like the website says? Does that mean 4:25? 4? Does it open earlier? Is it just a line of cars parked and waiting outside the main lot before they open? Does it fill up immediately? -
Will we learn anything the next three weeks?
transplantbillsfan replied to Billsfan1972's topic in The Stadium Wall
Just win. It's all that matters. They aren't easy to come by but they mean everything. Just ask the Chiefs, who have the best record in the AFC right now along with the Dolphins even though I think if you watched them play this season they don't look like a 4-1 team in the AFC. Heck I think the Bills look like a much better team than the Chiefs... problem is we're 3-2. Win in any manner now and try to start playing your best football at the end of the year going into the playoffs. Remember 2021? Buffalo looked like a pretty mediocre team mid-season, then got crazy hot after the Tampa Bay game. So... if we win the next 3 games in any way whatsoever, we will learn that the Bills are 6-2 and one of the probably top 3 teams in the NFL. -
The Allen-Diggs Relationship in Decline?
transplantbillsfan replied to hondo in seattle's topic in The Stadium Wall
Listen to Diggs's PC today. He has absolutely no issue with what Allen said. He's constantly talking about the high standard he holds himself to and how grateful he is Josh has his back. -
Yeah with all the film junkies coming out after the game I think I want Elam and Williams to continue to get their shot on the field, especially with our next 3 opponents. This bit on Williams from Joe B is kinda encouraging: https://theathletic.com/4953423/2023/10/11/buffalo-bills-film-review-jaguars-giants?source=user-shared-article Dorian Williams should get the first chance to replace Milano The Bills have some options at outside linebacker to replace the injured Matt Milano between rookie Dorian Williams, special teams asset Tyrel Dodson and the newly promoted veteran A.J. Klein. There will be some temptation to use Klein in that role because he has years of knowledge of Sean McDermott’s scheme and the trust of the head coach and defensive coordinator, but Klein should merely be a failsafe for later in the year. After all, the Bills moved on from him after the preseason for another veteran linebacker, which gives a window into their thought process. Between Williams and Dodson, the film justifies a pretty easy decision to go with the rookie who has a bunch of untapped potential. Williams is a bit rough around the edges with some missed tackles and maybe a misread or two, but the way he flew around the field and made some plays on pure instinct should give some confidence in him moving forward, as should the abilities of linebackers coach Bobby Babich in getting the most out of his players. Dodson is a solid run defender, but the film showed far too many times where he overcommits as a run defender in the hopes to get a stop, and that can easily get taken advantage of by an opponent with play-action if Dodson is in the lineup. Williams will make some mistakes, but the ceiling is far higher with a Bernard-Williams combo than Bernard and Dodson, despite the inherent variance of playing a rookie. If anything the Bills should feel confident in how well their young players have performed early this season with the chance for a lot of playing time, and they should let that fuel their decision to allow Williams to fill in for Milano.

The Allen-Diggs Relationship in Decline?
transplantbillsfan replied to hondo in seattle's topic in The Stadium Wall
I feel like Diggs and Allen are close enough and enough time lapsed between the game and this PC for it to be possible, if not probable, that Diggs either gave permission for Allen to say this or flat out instructed him to in order to put out the ridiculous fire. -
Silver linings with the Injuries?
transplantbillsfan replied to BuffaloBaumer's topic in The Stadium Wall
@HappyDays posted an All-22 thread with Joe Marino's analysis of the game. This is a guy who scouted college athletes for years with The Draft Network so he knows his stuff. He said Elam wasn't as bad as he looked and the issues are correctable. -
Silver linings with the Injuries?
transplantbillsfan replied to BuffaloBaumer's topic in The Stadium Wall
Buffalo got depth this offseason for a reason, but the Milano loss is devastating just because of how unique he is as a player. With that said, it's important to note that along with playing most of that game without Jones and Milano, we also played most of it without Von, who was on a pitch count. Added to that, we were without Rousseau and Benford, both of whom we clearly missed. Before the loss of Tre last week and then Jones and Milano this week I would have said this team was the best Ds in the NFL and had the potential to be one of the best Ds in history--sorry Jets. Now as long as we get Benford, Groot and Von back healthy within the next couple weeks (is anyone really worried about the Giants???), I still think we can manage to be a top 5 or at least a top 10 D. As much criticism as McDermott is getting right now for the flight decision to London, he’s been a massive upgrade over Frazier calling the D. Anyone arguing otherwise is blind. Add in the fact that AJE suddenly is playing with his hair on fire, Oliver looks fantastic, and our back 7 still at least has Po and Hyde to help Bernard with communication and I think we'll be fine... just PLEASE GOD NO MORE INJURIES!!!! Genuinely curious what McDermott does at LB. That's obviously worrisome now. But a Josh Allen helmed team with a top 5-10 offense will be just fine.
