    Can’t say that I agree on this one...it’s one thing to stick up for your city, or coaches and players on the team....but to get ones panties in a bunch over petty he said/she said media reports over a player who may or may not end up on the team seems to be a little over the top imo...possible the whole AB fiasco may have gotten to him a little.

    Don’t like that Beane is responding to potentially garbage reports...why should he care? the situation will play itself out...I prefer him to stay above the fray...he is better than allowing this to get him all worked up imo.

    Correct, I wouldn’t give Dak more than $25 million....and even that is debatable imo....he’s basically a glorified game manager.

    According to that standard for drops, it seems it would be difficult to accuse Clay of a drop vs Miami...it seems to be more of a case of an inaccurate pass imo. And I’m sure Allen would agree, as the throw was a fluttering knuckle ball coming out of his hand.

    While this is true, it is important to point out that, if all goes well this season, we probably won’t be in a good position to get a top flight pass rusher in next years draft...just something to consider.
