  1. Totally unfounded? Zero proof? Seeking ti get Rich? Completely deplorable. "At the request of police, she made pretext calls — recorded by detectives — with the men named in the lawsuit whom police “had determined were present in the room when the rape occurred.” Araiza, the complaint alleged, confirmed on a call in late October that they had sex and recommended she get tested for a sexually transmitted disease."
  2. Why is that relevant? The criminal and civil trial, along with his employment by the Bills are completely unrelated. Why do you keep avoiding my question about OJ?
  3. Sure you can, but I'm guessing if you reference evidence from the San Diego Police that does not exist and the story goes viral, that they would probably want to have a word. Have the San Diego police denounced it as fake?
  4. I read the lawsuit. Did you? Also, you didn't answer my question. Are you hiring OJ because he was found not guilty? https://www.scribd.com/document/589181099/Matt-Araiza-Civil-Complaint#fullscreen&from_embed
  5. Not guilt does not equal innocent. It never has. Also, the legal system is highly messed up, if you haven't been paying attention. Using it as your barometer of what is true and is not is far from advised.
  6. It's highly unlikely that it will ever be possible to prove he is innocent. The best we'll get is a lack of evidence to convict. You hiring OJ at your place of work? After all, he wasn't convicted either.
  7. Well then maybe he shouldn't have ***** a kid? The bills aren't able to ruin his life by any action they take. He did that all on his own.
  8. Cutting a player ruins their life? How? If he's innocent he'll find another team at some point. We're about to cut 30 players, so I sure hope not. I'm very comfortable cutting a player who's credibly accused of sexually assaulting a minor.
  9. We don't know about Rothlisberger either, or OJ for that matter.
  10. KC Signed Ju Ju - I expect him to go over 1000. They won't miss hill much, if at all. GB on the other hand was in bad shape even WITH Adams. They are a stone cold lock to not win the Super Bowl.
  11. No it really isn't. I never suggested taking any of his rights away. I don't think he should be in prison, but he doesn't have an inalienable right to be on a football team either. It's a pretty ***** up perspective you have to have to play devil's advocate here. At a bare minimum he admitted to a felony that would make him a registered sex offender.
  12. Cut anyone whose accused of gang raping a minor? Sure. I'll die on that hill gladly.
  13. I think you have to cut him regardless of whether or not you're sure he's guilty. The accusations are possibly the worst for an active NFL player since Hernandez. He's just a punter and a rookie at that. The cost of being wrong is so much higher than the value of being right.
  14. Why? The kid is a monster. One of the best route runners in the NFL. In his rookie year he led the NFL in separation He had a top 10 season last year despite a washed up Big Ben who finished the year ranked 26th in QBR, 27th in Air Yards/attempt, 21st in completion %, etc. Johnson is elite and with even mildly competent, WR play he should become a top 5 WR.
  15. I'm really not. Hopkins was setting a pace near career lows last year in most categories but touchdowns before he even got injured. Hill was 7th in the league in yards, 10th in TDs. Every player that was above him deserved to be there and will be again. It isn't to say Hill is a bad player, but he's much closer to the 10th best WR than he is the first and that's just a statistical fact at this point. Given he's playing with one of the worst QBs in the league this year, I'm expecting him to have a massive dropoff. He may still have the name Hill on his jersey, but he won't be the same guy. He's going to outrun Tua's arm and there will be a bunch of gnarly picks that happen as a result. I think he'll probably be somewhere around WR15 this year, below player like Diontae Johnson, CeeDee Lamb, Mike Williams, Keenan Allen and maybe even Gabe Davis.
  16. Hill and Hopkins as a 1/2 is a 2-3 years out of date. They've been surpassed. It's very hard to make the argument that Kupp isn't #1 right now and Adams at #2 makes a lot of sense. Hill is closer to the bottom of the top 10 then he is the top, and Hopkins' star has faded fast. Unless he comes back from suspension liek a beast, he might not be int he top 15 conversation anymore. KC & GB didn't choose to dump their WRs for ***** and gigs. They had no choice because of the big money paid to their QBs. It's a situation the Bills will find themselves in very soon. KC also added Ju-Ju who was once a promising WR1, and may be again with a top 2 QB.
  17. The Rams just won the Super Bowl on the back of the WR who had the greatest season in NFL history so...
  18. He's been noticeably worse than a player like Mayfield and has consistently been in the bottom 1/4 of starting QBs since entering the league. He's closer to Sam Darnold than he is to JA at this point.
  19. Risky how though? I love the way Blackshear has played, but realistically there's no path for him to be a contributor here. If Singletary commands big money after the season and the team decides to move on, he could certainly be a candidate for 3rd string next year, but there's a million guys that could be in that role. He'd almost certainly be inactive every week behind Cook and Moss. When Moss is due for a new contract the following year, that could put Blackshear into a 1a/1b possibility depending on how Cook turns out and is utilized, but that's 3 seasons away and there will be dozens of additional young RBs that enter the league by that time. Even if Blackshear becomes a Hall of Famer, I don't see any way that happens as a Bill. There just isn't an opportunity for a guy like him here unless he starts becoming a dominant ST player.
  20. Baker is a good player who was in a bad situation. Is Carolina any better? Maybe, maybe not. If McCaffery can stay healthy, I wouldn't be shocked to see them do very well this year. The NFC is pretty much wide open.
  21. 2 of Blackshear, Hodgins, and Kumerow get cut I think. Spector or Giles-Harris makes the roster and I think you need another DB to start the season.
  22. It's so he doesn't burn his hands taking the pork butt out of the smoker during commercials.
  23. Ohio: The Florida of the Midwest I Spent my early to mid 20s in Seattle and it's an awesome place. I still miss the fishing/boating.
