  1. Winning a Super Bowl is probably fun. I don't know for sure, but I'd love to try it. I know for a fact that not winning one is not fun and I've tried that for nearly 40 years. Let's try the new thing and see how it feels.
  2. I'd chose the one that's paying me $250M+ by a lot Hopefully she has a hell of a personality.
  3. QBs who never lived up to their ultimate potential while remaining high end starters? Lots. Or are you suggesting a scenario where he'll be a 5 turnover/game guy and the worst player on the field from here on out after formerly being a top QB? There are less of those, but still a couple.
  4. He sure did. Of course this was after 3 consecutive first team all-pros, two MVP awards, and a super bowl win - none of which Josh Allen has one of, but Peyton sure did throw all those picks that one time.
  5. If you're going to misrepresent me, at least make it something funny.
  6. That's a poor justification. Individuals are not a court of law, just like private enterprise is not the federal government.
  7. if there was documented recorded proof, it wouldn't be an accusation - it would be a fact. Although, I'm guessing in your case, that documented recorded proof would result in a shifting of goalposts and a twisting of intent.
  8. Typically plaintiffs in a lawsuit directly benefit by being believed. Yes. That's why they sue.
  9. Apparently he was seriously considering retirement prior to this season with $50M there for him if he just showed up. I'm not sure he'll retire, but it wouldn't shock me.
  10. They are in terms of the cap, but usually you have to be an active player in the league to get your guaranteed money. If he retires, I think they keep the cash, but their cap is hosed.
  11. Emotionally exhausted.
  12. Who cares? We lost the game before it started.
  13. why do you expect him to? He didn't break tackles in college either. he was and is an outside runner and pass catcher we're trying to use as a normal back. Classic Beane - McD miscue.
  14. That's an indictment of the philosophy than it is anything else
  15. you don't have to dislike black people to be racist. How is it anything other than hateful? He's combining two forms of hate at the same time - classism and racism. He's telling employees they should be grateful to be in his employ and if they don't like it, go back to an ancestral country where they were forced to leave. What do you think racism is?
  16. I haven't "trusted the process" since I first heard it. It was the most opaque, catch-all blanket for anything and everything that was wrong at the time. It may have been the dumbest thing I ever heard a coach say. It's become clear now that "The Process" isn't the solution, it's the problem.
  17. YIKES. I'm not shocked that society can't have a meaningful discussion about institutional racism when actual - "GO BACK WHERE YOU CAME FROM" xenophobia just goes straight through folks in 2023.
  18. Hi, welcome to earth. Let me show you dozens of billionaires that are this stupid.
  19. I don't want my punter trying any harder than that in week 1.
  20. Nothing changes the narrative for the bills until they start playing better and winning games in the playoffs. The next 17 games are just an extended pre-season as far as I'm concerned.
  21. Passing yardage when assessing QBs is almost meaningless. If a QB routinely gets under 200 yards a game, he's probably a big part of the problem, but It's definitely more of an offense stats than a QB stat. Points scored and points allowed is pretty useless too.
  22. There's no chance he comes close to living up to that contract. Even if he gets 20 sacks a year, is 1.7M/sack even worth it? That would be like paying AJ Epenesa 10M last year. It's far more realistic that he averages in the mid double digits ~15 for 2.8M/sack
