You're making the assumption Motor wanted to re-sign with the Bills. Maybe he doesn't like state taxes or cold weather. Harris has a no bs straight ahead run you over type running style whereas Motor was more cerebral trying to make guys miss. He's the ying to Cook's yang.

Like the player and the fit. Hate that he’s coming from the evil empire.

They very well could draft a tackle in the first round as it qualifies as a premium position. I'm still all for drafting the best player available at a premium position regardless of need on either side (other than quarterback) in the first round.

Trump’s Post Presidency—What Will He Do?
Doc Brown replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
How is that fun? Obviously they don't but an indictment of Trump is exactly what they want. The Manhattan DA is a Democrat and that's all the ammunition Trump needs to paint this as a political hit job regardless of his guilt. Actually, now that I think about it even if the DA was a Republican it would still be portrayed by the Trump campaign as the elites trying to eliminate him from becoming president again. I can't wait for the"they're just after me because they hate you" line at one of his stupid rallies. -

I'm pretty sure that's the purpose if you're a democratic operative looking towards the GOP presidential primaries. -
They have to with Burrow. His splits under pressure vs. kept clean are night and day. Meanwhile, Allen is the best under pressure in the NFL. I'm not saying we shouldn't prioritize OL, but I wish people would stop comparing us to the Bengals in this area.

Lamar Jackson wants guarantees that exceed Watson contract
Doc Brown replied to SCBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Both are/would be huge gambles but like you said the offsetting language in Watson's contract makes it slightly less risky imo. Watson played three straight seasons in Houston without missing a game due to injury before demanding a trade. Good massage therapists I guess. -
Lamar Jackson wants guarantees that exceed Watson contract

It would be more of a gamble than DeShaun Watson was for the Browns considering Lamar runs a lot more. Two first round picks and at least 230 million guaranteed over five years is quite the price. -
Because Aaron Rodgers is a Wild Card who could change his mind at any moment. What if he decides to retire between then and now? The Packers then get nothing for him.

What if Pegula agreed to pay his state taxes? Is that legal?

"Yes I realize" - well, at least you got that going for you because you acted like you didn't. "I have watched this team for a zillion years" - the oldest person in recorded history is 122 years old at the time of death. "Paying a CB is stupid, those guys are a dime a dozen" - the market says otherwise. A true shutdown #1 CB is incredibly valuable. "Cost us a foundational MLB" - to be determined. As far as his contract you could make the same argument for Dawkins, Knox, Miller, Diggs, Hyde, and Milano.

I’m more disappointed we couldn’t extend him last year for 14 million or so. Hindsight is 20/20 though and he had by far his best year to strike it rich. Good for him. Glad he went to an irrelevant team in the NFC.

Bears to trade #1 overall pick to Panthers
Doc Brown replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yup. If you do the draft pick chart value calculation it would've been close to an even trade without DJ Moore. The Panthers were desperate and the Bears took advantage. If Carolina gets a franchise QB though it's a win/win trade. -

Not me. Give Fields one more year and if he sucks you'll likely have two picks in the top 10 in a better quarterback class. You'll also have plenty of draft capital and salary cap space to surround that pick with talent. -
Adams set the Raiders record for most receiving yards in a season. 1516 yards, 100 catches, 14 TD's. Thomas is not Adams though.

There isn't a left tackle on the market as good as Dawkins that the Bills could afford. There's no left tackle in the draft that would be as good as Dawkins in the draft where the Bills pick. Left tackle is more important than guard. Find a guard in free agency or the draft.
