There's always been a slight advantage to deferring as teams that do win 51 to 52% of the time depending on what longitudinal study you look at. Pry the first Bills game this year I could see going a blowout or close win by both teams. Bills under Allen are 5-0 on Sunday Night football. This has a Bills Chiefs 2021 SNF vibe to me where we won 38-20 after being embarrassed by them in the playoffs. I do worry about Allen's shoulder though and the white jersey with blue pants/blue socks look. I think it'll be closer for those reasons....but Bills 32 Bengals 26

Also can kick inside if god forbid something happens to T. Johnson. I would've preferred a true shutdown #1 CB. Jaguars were an inconsistent team up to that point and we were just coming off of a thrashing of Miami by 28 points. Patriots were +8.5 (not +11.5) and had lost three in a row being outscored 93-20. We beat the Patriots the previous two seasons by double digits 4 of 5 times (darn wind game). I thought both lines were appropriate. We just screwed the pooch in both games.

Adams would just be an expensive rental and I'm not sure how he'd handle being the number two target on an offense. Give me a CB who can help us for years down the road.

Great. Sounds like smart people overthinking things. You have a 6’5 240 lb. qb and you should have him qb sneak it from a half yard line out in 3rd and goal or less every darn time. You won’t lose yards and they’re not stopping you more than twice in a row.
