Just quit the season. That performance was pathetic
Doc Brown replied to Buffalo03's topic in The Stadium Wall
Pathetic effort but I'd rather have that then a significant injury to a starter (look at Hollywood Brown). Oliver going down early and Josh scrambling was nerve-wracking. -
Yeah. Go to the once in East Aurora. It's smaller so it's easier to nail them every time. Just be prepared to wait unless you go on off hours.

He wouldn't have requested a trade then.
-
He also was pry the first prominent Democrat operative to smartly advise the party to ax Biden after that debate.
-
Money is the obvious answer but if he's thinking of a 3rd contract it makes sense to nix the Pats and Browns. I think he's trying SF to get within the ballpark of those deals.
-
I'm actively rooting for him to fail and help tear that team apart. Does that make me a bad person? Absolutely.

Democrat Convention 2024 (Chicago)
Doc Brown replied to B-Man's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Just don't go full Idiocracy on us with celebrities (Hogan, Kid Rock, Dana White) like the RNC did. It's a low bar to clear but I'm not sure if the Dems are capable. -
I've heard that criticism before and I still have no clue what that means. Dorsey to me was a reactive and predictable play caller. I don't think it was an accident the turnovers went down when Dorsey was fired. His in game adjustments weren't great either. I'm not sold on Brady yet either but like that this team stylistically is changing on offense. Evolve or die.

I'm not seeing this reported anywhere else.

Interesting you called this over a week ago and it's definitely a possibility.

I thought Trump should've picked Rubio and Harris should've picked Shapiro. I do think that Walz is a far safer pick than Vance was though. Walz won't do any harm but Shapiro offered more upside.
-
Shapiro and Walz plays rock, paper, scissors best two out of three in prime time for VP. Both are strong rust belt candidates so I don't think it matters.

Because they're always wrong.

Polls Are Basically Useless
Doc Brown replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
That's exactly what he was trying to do and he's not wrong either. It's a horrible strategy though. Attack the Biden/Harris record again and again and again. Then specifically say who you'll fix the damage they did. -

Polls Are Basically Useless
Doc Brown replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Anecdotal but a black nurse I work with cried when Biden selected her as VP. We'll see how the rest of America sees her. I do know that Trump at his best won 46.8% of the national vote which is why picking him as the GOP nominee really ticked me off. -
Polls Are Basically Useless
Doc Brown replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
She became the nominee is what has changed. All the depressed democrats were given some hope and independents who would vote for a ham sandwich over Biden or Trump were given an alternative. I don’t know if that momentum holds though. -
Polls Are Basically Useless
Doc Brown replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Trump's always had a hard ceiling nationally (46%). Now the alternative isn't a corpse. It's really not that hard to figure out. It's why I was hoping DeSantis or Haley would win the nomination as Trump is a very weak candidate because he turns more people off than on.
