  1. as expected, this thread is a ***** show
  2. I said no, however it should have some caveats to it similar to free speech and yelling fire in a crowded theater.
  3. love the top comment on the article, The Minnesota Vikings Experience
  4. Brady and Rodger are likely low bc they know how to read a defense and know where the open guy will be.
  5. Doesnt sound like she is that into football but also doesnt sound like she is against it. I would try and convert her to being a Bills fan
  6. Thats very likely and highly probable, but why leave any doubt?
  7. There are still two more games to play in the group. Also he meant since they put a big number up in the first game, that they have essentially secured any goal differential tie breaker, hence his stating it is over. Edit: I think the next game against Sweden is the last game, so only 1 more game left.
  8. This TPS report is missing a cover sheet, didnt you get the memo??
  9. This is an interesting take, celebrating a score in sports makes one a *****?
  10. If I remember correctly when they did something similar to us (was it a Sunday night game during the Jauron era?) people were complaining about the fact that they were running up the score, and the common refrain at the time was if you don’t like them running up the score, stop them. The same can be said of the celebrations, if you don’t like them, don’t give them anything to celebrate about
  11. No need to be condescending I was trying to understand the foundation from which you are basing this celebration stance. Is it inappropriate all the time? Or certain instances it is allowed, if so when? I agree that whole gender thing is completely baseless imo
  12. So do you just not like celebrating in general? Or is there some sort of book on when to celebrate? I dont see professionals celebrating as unsportsmanlike. Do you get mad when NFL players celebrate touchdowns too?
  13. 8 y/o soccer is not the same thing as a WC match, I would hope as a parent you could explain the difference to your child
  14. Yet also in the article, "I was going to handle this the way I handle most of my claims: quietly,” N. Lucy Chukwurah, Pope’s attorney, told The Houston Chronicle. “When the Texans terminated Mr. Gaine, that caught my attention. They terminated him a few days after they spoke with their counsel. I found that to be unusual."
  15. Any word on what the team activity is?
  16. This team lost to Sweden before which is in there group. No victory is guaranteed and it being the first match of group play, getting a cushion like that is important. This is what these players train hard for year round, so when that work pays off, let them celebrate. I have not heard any complaints from the Thailand team, and if they arent upset, why care?
  17. I am actually heading down there in two weeks myself, thinking about moving to the area and wanted to scope it out, so any recommendations would be appreciated as well!
  18. It seems like the people against the celebrations are talking out both sides of their mouths, they say its not about running up the score as there is goal differential tie breaker, but then turn around and say they shouldnt celebrate bc they are up so much. Wouldnt each goal still be important and then worth celebrating?
  19. Gotta admit I was happy watching the blues get up 4-0 in Boston and the fans all leaving, I was in a good mood, then they announced the conn smythe winner, and it killed that mood, said a few curse words and turned the tv off.
  20. So are the Sabres going to become Carolina north as well?? ?
  21. Tibs was all about her, then flipped to Biden it seems, maybe he will jump back on the Lieawatha train.
  22. LMAO I am still thinking about it, when I make my choice I will explain why I went that way, right now its tough. Edit: I went with STL, I cant let one player ruin a team I would otherwise root for, and not liking one player does not beat out not liking a whole team/city of sports fans
  23. I am so torn on this, and actually was having a discussion with one of my co-workers about it. I honestly loathe all boston sports franchises, but I also dont want to see ROR win one, esp the season after leaving the Sabres. I initially thought Boston, but now may be moving towards STL.
  24. How could it be bad? Internment camps were set up by a democrat
