Brandon Beane Season Ending Presser Weds 1/27
LABILLBACKER replied to cage's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yea this is kinda pointless. I'd rather they call in McDermott, Farwell and Bass for a little presser chit chat. Now that would be compelling. Oh hell yes. If you can't stay composed after Josh just wins you the game and come up with an intelligent strategy for 13 seconds, than who can I trust? -
Our QB basically plays 2 straight perfect playoff games and is out. Home Alone gets sacked 9 times and gets to play in the Conference final. Go figure?
-
It would be fun to have Fitz as our backup. Hopefully we never have to use him other than maybe 1 game. On a much more important issue is Ken Dorsey. Yesterday on Colin Cowherd, he said many of his insiders all agree Dorsey will be the next great OC. Josh and the Pegulas can't let him leave.

Stafford is not beating Mahomes, Kelce & Hill. I don't care how well Donald plays. For all intents and purposes the NFL season ended Sunday night.
-
This is true. KC and Buffalo are the 2 best teams in the league. And they will be for awhile. Kinda makes these remaining games anticlimactic.

I believe I spelled "and" with an "or".....but you're right, dream big.

Coaching or Drafting? - The Defensive Front
LABILLBACKER replied to ThurmanThomasEnglishMuffin's topic in The Stadium Wall
If Addison is our best FA pickup over the last 2-3 years, then we're in big trouble. Ed Oliver I like alot but he does require a decent 1T next to him. Edmunds is a semi- bust. Groot might improve but I have my doubts about Epenesa & Boogie. We need to spend a few more dollars and get a Chandler Jones. -
Exactly. Give me an extra week to rest up any dinged players. And obviously home field advantage which we could've used last week. No more bogus losses to teams like Jacksonville & Pittsburgh.

What are the top three worst losses in franchise history?
LABILLBACKER replied to VaMilBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
These are my 3, but based on the ridiculous greatness of Josh and how we wasted maybe the greatest single performance by a Bills qb and a pretty good chance to finally win a Lombardi.....I'd rank them 1. 13 2. Wide Right 3. Forward lateral I'm still unnerved and devastated by last Sunday -
Count the defenders who miss on this play
LABILLBACKER replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
That 1st quarter 34 yard run was half of Mahomes night. Josh's runs had a much higher degree of difficulty. -
As many have said, picking up Gescki would be huge. But it would require him to take a little less than 10-12M which he's projected. He would also be making more than Knox which might not go over well. Max Williams would be a more affordable TE2 and great blocker. I think either Scherff or Chandler Jones will be the big FA haul costing approx. 16M/yr. Our future CB2 will come in the 1st round.

Frazier getting second interview with Joe Schoen and NYG
LABILLBACKER replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Frazier will fail no matter where he goes. He was awful as a HC in Minnesota and it seems his current personality is that of Rob Ott. He looks like a standing coma. -
Should the Bills extend Edmunds?
LABILLBACKER replied to Victory Formation's topic in The Stadium Wall
Jesus dude. Neither guy is Ray Lewis but anyone who has eye balls can see Milano is a better all around linebacker than Tremaine. And when the team eventually trades TE or let's him walk your deepest fears will be realized. And using the Kelce td as part of your argument is so adorable. The only person who can guard the greatest TE of all time is Kelce himself. -
Their WR1, TE1, RB1 and HC1 are better, faster, stronger, smarter. I would put Josh slightly ahead of Mahomes based on his better scrambling ability. Both defenses are good (not great) but KC has superior pass rushers. When Kelcie (33 this fall) retires, the advantage will shift.

Should the Bills extend Edmunds?
LABILLBACKER replied to Victory Formation's topic in The Stadium Wall
If anyone offered a 2nd round pick for him I would do it in a heartbeat. The only other option in my eyes is pay him 9M and tell him he's moving to the outside. I'm so tired of safe bend don't break defenses. We've witnessed them throughout Bills history. Let Frazier walk and sign Fangio. Stick Tremaine outside where he's belonged since day 1 and let your defense be more aggressive. -
Gabe is a beast. Should never have been minimized mid season. He's WR2 from here on out. Period

Should the Bills extend Edmunds?

McD is too stubborn to ever move him outside. I personally think he would thrive there. McD is going to die on that hill trying to turn Tremaine into Keuchly. -
Should the Bills extend Edmunds?
LABILLBACKER replied to Victory Formation's topic in The Stadium Wall
If you're waiting for him to think (instincts) then you'll be waiting for a very long time. Is it so much to ask for a MLB to have some run support skills. -
You're right and if we had not failed the pop up kickoff, they would've only had time for 1 hail mary in fg range.

I have an idea. Pay him $400k for every TFL he gets. That will save some money. My bad, I forgot he's a glorified CB. Trade him and get as much picks as you can.
