Every time we play someone we get their best effort. Almost flawless performance by qbs that normally would be considered mediocre or worse. Injuries have devastated this team, yet by some miracle we're still 8-3. More players sick, more players going down. I don't know if the SB is in our stars this season but I sure wish a little luck would come our way.

Yup, Josh should've been in shotgun with a spread. Give him options to run, throw or roll out. Trying to get a clean behind center snap with the entire DL bunched was just asking for it.

Good write up....the team was exhausted and factor in a lack of practices before Cleveland & Detroit reflected that....I agree Dorsey is an issue right now. I realize he's a rookie OC and is developing too, but he's gotta return some basic Daboll nuances to the playbook....I didn't see any anti-Bills bias from Romo. What I do notice lately from him is an annoying habit of manufacturing artificial drama to a game. His first couple years he played nostradamous and it was kinda cool. Now he's reverted to acting. And it comes off disingenuous... ..the bottom line is each week from here on out the Bills need to get more players return from injury than they lose.

Not the end of the world. Go hard for the AFCE and #2 seed. Then wait for someone to beat Mahomes before we face them.

Your are correct. They rolled the dice on their 2 young DE's to develop and so far it's a fail. Obviously we weren't expecting both Von & Groot to get injured. Jerry would've really helped. Now we're in pass rush hell. Shaq has held his own as has Ed & DaQ. I think Leslie will be dialing up more 5 man rushes with Milano because of everything.

Right....right now he's better than Boogie & Epenesa combined. I'd make a call.

I would love to compare Epenesa's 66% miss rate to the rest of the league. That's an embarrassing number. We've had games where we tackled poorly but that Lions game was unreal.

Agree.....I'd trade a turkey leg for a healthy pro bowler any day. Becoming an unlucky deal.

And another disappointing tidbit I saw today about AJE is he leads the Bills by a wide margin with a 66% missed tackle rate. He and Boogie are both busts forced to play because Von & Groot are hurt.

That Lions game was the worst tackling of the year. Everyone including Milano missed tackles. Careful, this is Pennstate10's boy.

McDermott's legacy will be determined by how he does in the playoffs. Just like Shottenheimer. This team regardless of injuries and in game coaching has way too much talent to miss the playoffs every year. But when the playoffs start and the level of play increases, that's when you see the truth.

Actually it has. He's no better now than he was last year. But you keep believing that. Maybe someday you'll wake up and AJ will become Chris Kelsay.

I'm willing to give him another chance to redeem the 3 straight years of defensive playoff struggles. Now obviously this year would be impossible to critique him because of all the defensive injuries. But there's going to come a time in the McDermott era when a decision will have to be made. I like both Payton & Reich but who knows who's right for Josh. Maybe Daboll gets tired of developing Jones and wants to return. For now I'm supporting Clappy but he's not bulletproof. His defenses have got to do more in the playoffs. And considering the majority of draft assets have gone on his side, they're are no excuses.

I will always praise and honor McDermott for bringing the illustrious "process & culture" to this organization. The team definitely shows incredible comradery and brotherhood. But......his incessant stubborn style slowly bringing players along drives me nuts. And his historical game management errors are well documented. Our path to a SB championship depends on Josh. And having an offensive HC would help that along. I'll tell ya one thing. Anymore defensive playoff mistakes like Houston 16-0 or 13 seconds won't be tolerated.

I'll tell ya what they can do. Instead of wasting high draft picks on stiffs like Epenesa & Basham, go out and draft OL. Last I checked Josh doesn't play defense, so how bout you surround your elite cyborg unicorn franchise player with better olineman.

I've never once in my life seen a sack become a completed pass for a td. But I've seen hundreds of qb pressures result in tds. Just saying.....

First mistake was not pooching and forcing them to burn 3-4 seconds. Second mistake was not defending the middle knowing they had all timeouts. Look where our throw to Diggs went yesterday...middle.
