Is There So Little Love for Tremaine Edmunds?
LABILLBACKER replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall
And what does that tell you. It speaks volumes why you rarely if ever see Edmunds guard Kelce 1 on 1. Even though he's the exact same size & speed of Kelce? Makes absolutely no sense. Such a counterintuitive defensive strategy???? -

Good luck to him chasing that dream contract but if true that's all the more reason we're letting him walk. -

Did those projections include cannibas? 20-25M is hilarious. -
Jets DE talking trash about Josh Allen
LABILLBACKER replied to smuvtalker's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm not going to ever apologize for hoping Josh gets all the calls Brady got for 20+ years. And as far as the Jests go, wake me up when this $#!+ Show of an organization ever finds a qb. Thanks for the bulletin board material scrub DE. -

Trenton Simpson, probably a late first rounder. Great size at 6-3 and 240. Much faster than Tremaine at 4.39 and could solve your first and third points. And did I mention it won't cost 14-18M. And I agree you're going to see a gradual shift back to more emphasis on run attacks by nfl teams. -

6 -3, 240, 4.39 (40).....yikes! CBS has him currently projected #35 over-all. There you go, someone we could draft on a 5 year rookie contract who could take over for TE. Maybe he even surprises us with some instincts at the LOS? Trenton Simpson, remember that name. -

They do, they just don't call them a MLB. Tremaine has played the SS position his entire career. He just happens to have the size and "Title" of a middle linebacker. Beane will find someone in the draft or bargain FA who might be 6-1/6-2 who can play that hybrid role. Maybe I'll just stop using the term hybrid and say our 2nd SS? Do you think he gets extended? -

LABILLBACKER replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yes, that's exactly what he is but he won't be here next year because we're not paying him 14-18M/ yr to do what a rookie SS can do for 2-3M. So we will need to find another hybrid to replace our current hybrid. -
Or just hand the ball off to Jordan Phillips and let him knock guys over like bowling pins.

Hines in 2020-2021 ●1448 combined all purpose ●10 tds ●Only started 4 games That's alot of production for his limited play.

Matt Haack's not playing Sunday. We should be good. Bills 35 Jesters 17

I too spent a couple years at UCLA studying meteorology. These climatic forecasts are pretty damn accurate. Supposedly this might be the last La Nina event as wetter weather is expected in late March on the west coast. My concern for Buffalo this winter revolves more around the wind. Hopefully we don't see another event like last year.

Poyer elbow injury (update: “day-to-day”)
LABILLBACKER replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
That's good news. If it was something more serious we'd have heard it. I still hope they rest him Sunday and let him get recovered. -

I think we're all in agreement Tremaine over these last 5 years has been a dime strong safety. His job and strength is roaming the middle of the field eliminating passing lanes. This is where he gets his deflections. I wish him the best in his quest to get a good contract. But I find it almost impossible we extend him. McB will draft a hybrid LB/SS. -
Let's not kid ourselves. Our OL isn't going to suddenly learn how to run block. If I have a faster, more reliable rb to throw checkdowns to, sign me up. We have to incorporate more RB throws as part of our "run game".

They have tons of time to evaluate what Cook can and can't do. Hines' play in 20 & 21 as a non starter RB is impressive. We were never keeping Moss and extending Motor.
-
It's called Singletary and Moss were never getting extended.
-
Cook doesn't run a 4.38 Look at Hines' numbers in 2020. 7 tds and nearly 900 yards from scrimmage as a PT player. This addition is solid RB depth for little cost.

Marlowe immediately replaces Jaquan. Now we just see how long Poy is out?

49ers trade RB jeff Wilson to Miami

Does that include the 5 dropped INT's in the Steeler game? Tua is one concussion away from season over.
