We made the right decision dumping Moss and picking up Hines. He will be a very good returner for us. We just need to do a better job incorporating him into our offense. -

Yeah with everything going on today weather wise I see Tua having one of those legendary bad games. The kind that make Fish fans re-evaluate whether he's the long term savior? -

No one's stopping the Red Cyborg tonight. -
If you gave Josh players like Tyreek and Kelce along with an offensive genius like Reid, he'd have a ring too. Josh has Diggs and that's about it. No bonified 2nd wr. Weak OL and now a struggling rookie OC. Josh has to make lemonade out of lemons. Mahomes & Allen are practically identical.
-
My biggest fear is losing Josh. Our OL has done a poor job (as usual) of protecting him. Quessenberry got his elbow torn up. Spencer & Rodger are turnstiles. Bates now is hurt. If we have to rely on Q, Rotten and Hart the playoff run will be very short. I'll tip my hat to the D this season with Micah & Von out. But their historical failures in the playoffs cannot be ignored.

DaQuan Jones: Best Beane free agent signing in years

I just don't care anymore about how high our defense is ranked in various categories during the regular season. Our last 3 playoff exits have been because our defense failed us. -
Brown - Productive Fairly Recently

I think both will contribute just enough to make it into the playoff run. That throw to Smoke last week was underthrown but Josh gets a pass because of his elbow and the elements. I think McKenzie is a lost cause and we need to see what the hell we have in Shakir. -
Give Shanahan Josh & CMC with that D. Game over..... We're going to be throwing some fish around Saturday.
-
You're so right. Allen, Diggs and Morse are really the only consistent offensive players you can count on. If Bates didn't get injured I'd throw him in there. The rest have been up & down all season. Orlovsky is right, we're just not as powerful as 20 or 21. If we don't go heavy on OL/WR this April someone needs to lose their job.
-
We've been begging them for 3 years. But this coaching staff is obsessed with Defensive players in the draft. We need 2 OL & a WR in the first 3 picks. Saffold and Spencer have to be replaced immediately.

NFL Rules on Heaters For Sidelines?
LABILLBACKER replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall
I agree and while we're at it short circuit their locker room heat. Get in their heads before they even take the field. -
Recently I started a top7 wr thread. Trying to get a feel for who's our WR2? As I expected after Diggs no one could come up with a definitive #2. Gabe unfortunately has been inconsistent and I'm afraid he'll be that way his whole career. Knox has been open but Josh isn't looking his way as often or he's asked to block because our RT's all blow. After Gabe & Dawson the drop off is extreme. This organization has to decide to either build around Josh or keep dicking around on defensive picks. And with a defensive HC this probably won't end the way we want.
-
I agree but why wasn't that the plan 3 years ago. Why is the obvious taking so damn long. This organization should've put priority 1 building a monster OL around Josh rather than dicking around drafting marginal DE's.

Fish in Orchard Park - Snow Game ✅
LABILLBACKER replied to WEATHER DOT COM's topic in The Stadium Wall
People are being foolishly nostalgic about the glory days bad weather games. That formula doesn't work anymore. We're literally asking that Josh and his skillset be completely neutralized so we all can enjoy our outdoor experience. We're not built for bad weather. Our OL sucks and our running game is mediocre. The players hate it and so does JA17. He's said on several occasions the circulation in his feet is terrible. Too late now. Be careful what you ask for. Rarely does Josh light it up in bad weather. -
I realize that bad weather penalizes both teams. I get it. But why would I want to do that at the risk of neutralizing Josh and all his strengths. Now if we had a better OL or running game I could get on board with your bad weather strategy. I guess I'm not willing to devalue Josh's abilities at the gain of screwing the opponents performance.

https://www.bostonglobe.com/2022/01/13/sports/josh-allen-bills-cold-weather-has-been-great-neutralizer/ Sorry but the numbers don't back up your argument. And this article just discusses the cold. Factor in rain (wet ball), wind like NE game and snow and the numbers for Josh fall even more. We can no longer live in the Jim Kelly snow game years. The organization dropped the ball on not insisting more on a dome. And they'll definitely regret it.
