  1. I agree but why wasn't that the plan 3 years ago. Why is the obvious taking so damn long. This organization should've put priority 1 building a monster OL around Josh rather than dicking around drafting marginal DE's.
  2. Just clog the middle and force him outside.
  3. People are being foolishly nostalgic about the glory days bad weather games. That formula doesn't work anymore. We're literally asking that Josh and his skillset be completely neutralized so we all can enjoy our outdoor experience. We're not built for bad weather. Our OL sucks and our running game is mediocre. The players hate it and so does JA17. He's said on several occasions the circulation in his feet is terrible. Too late now. Be careful what you ask for. Rarely does Josh light it up in bad weather.
  4. I realize that bad weather penalizes both teams. I get it. But why would I want to do that at the risk of neutralizing Josh and all his strengths. Now if we had a better OL or running game I could get on board with your bad weather strategy. I guess I'm not willing to devalue Josh's abilities at the gain of screwing the opponents performance.
  5. https://www.bostonglobe.com/2022/01/13/sports/josh-allen-bills-cold-weather-has-been-great-neutralizer/ Sorry but the numbers don't back up your argument. And this article just discusses the cold. Factor in rain (wet ball), wind like NE game and snow and the numbers for Josh fall even more. We can no longer live in the Jim Kelly snow game years. The organization dropped the ball on not insisting more on a dome. And they'll definitely regret it.
  6. Exactly....the recent acquisitions of Brown & Beasley is more about finding veterans who can catch the damn ball regardless of weather. We can still move the chains without YAC. 2020 proves that.
  7. Yes, on several occasions with shorter throws Josh had way too much velocity on the ball. During rain games this is something he's gotta work on.
  8. I couldn't disagree more. Bad weather doesn't care if your Chad Pennington or Josh Allen. A wet ball is going to come out poorly regardless. The wind will blow your pass out of bounds regardless. This organization will regret not spending the extra money on a dome. And this so called advantage no longer exists. Every time Josh plays in weather his numbers are down. He's just as neutralized as the next guy.
  9. 1. Diggs 2. Knox 3. Davis 4. Beasley 5. Shakir 6. Smoke 7. McKenzie I'm not seeing Crowder or Kumerow returning this season. And considering how horrible we are at screen plays, Hines won't be as useful as he could be. Dirty should only be doing his jet sweep/ end around gadget stuff. I'd still like to see Shakir get more opportunities. Dawson is above Gabe because I think teams are ignoring him which is leading to him open more lately (all 22). I think McD will quickly encorporate Smoke & Beasley into the offense.
  10. We desperately needed veteran leadership at wr. Guys that know the importance of catching the ball first before worrying about YAC. Having Smoke and Beasley, even for a handful of targets, will help out Josh tremendously. Gabe & McK have been inconsistent. I'd argue without the drops and drops turned int's Josh would have a qb rating well over 100.
  11. We don't have the luxury to wiff on early OL picks anymore. Josh running for his life. The offense is too Josh-centric. Beane better improve his OL scouts.
  12. I don't care anymore about his burst. He's always found a knack for sitting down in zones and getting open. He catches the ball and helps Josh move the chains. I don't care about YAC. But I do insist on a player capable of catching the ball. Remember Josh's first INT in LA. That was a dry ball dropped by McKenzie. I think having Smoke & Beas together again in the WR room would be pretty cool.
  13. I don't even want him gadgeting. Give those plays to Hines. I'm officially ready to relocate Isaiah to Florida.
  14. It was mentioned several times today that the way to beat Tua is force him outside the numbers. Take away the middle and make him throw along the sidelines. He will fail miserably.
  15. If true then congratulations to Sean for finally realizing McKenzie sucks. That took forever. Welcome home rock a bye.
  16. I'm afraid so. Non-contact left knee plants. Not good.
  17. TY is hardly a star receiver anymore. This signing is about as exciting as Smoke. Nothing to see here. And frankly I don't think OBJ is signing with anyone until training camp of 23.
  18. There's gotta be a way to minimize these ankle injuries. Better conditioning, better taping, better cleat selection based on field or conditions? Our OL is bad enough healthy without one of our more reliable guys going down.
  19. If he craps the bed "play calling wise" in the playoffs, I'd call Reich. Ken just seems like a deer in the headlights.
  20. Yes there were 8 legit drops yesterday. McKenzie's were the worst considering how open he was. If you know there's going to be a wet ball, put some damn gloves on.
  21. Clearly he has little t-rex arms too. I'm over Lil dirty. Time to focus on singing and his bbq business. Shakir next man up.
  22. We won't compete consistently if the OL doesn't turn things around. Kromer and guys like Saffold and Brown have been huge disappointments. Dawkins has been inconsistent. Bates is now hurt. If guys like Quessenberry or Van Rotten have to come in its game over. Dorsey has truly struggled his first year. The tempo and plays are off. After Diggs, wrs just aren't separating or catching passes. I know the record doesn't necessarily reflect this but your eyes don't lie.
  23. No heater in locker room No heaters on the sidelines Fish remain on ice
  24. None of this will fly or be sustainable once the playoffs start and everyone raises their level of play 5x. We won't have the regular season luxury of missing tackles, committing penalties or dropping balls.
