Well all I know is whoever suggested Saffold & Quessenberry should be questioned for their ability to identify talent. I've said for a few years now our scouts are very mediocre. Guys like Epenesa, Basham, Bernard, Ford etc were disappointments. We just don't have the luxury or cap space to screw up improving our Offense. Maybe we need to re-evaluate how we incentivize these scouts?

Agreed.... it was accurately said by many that the offense had no identity, tempo or creativity. Once Quessenberry got Josh injured, the whole short game disappeared. Now you rely on deeper routes with lower completion percentages. I'm not saying Dorsey had a great rookie season....he didn't, but there are other obvious factors to take into consideration.

Yes McDermott got outcoached by both McDaniels & Taylor. The only difference is Josh & Co. somehow willed us to a close win against Miami. By the Cincy game the tank was bone dry. Sean's game day strategy will always concern me. It's just part of how our team is built.

Just read Tranquil scored around 75 in coverage over the last 2 seasons. Those are very good numbers. Maybe they think Campbell is the option if Wagner doesn't sign? Everybody else worth a damn is gone. I just know I'm not starting my season with Dodson, Bernard or Spector at ILB.

Who knows if we're ever getting Wagner? Tranquil would've been nice since he graded ~ 75 for 2 straight seasons in coverage. The only way I want Campbell is on a trade down. Dawand Jones could step in and replace Brown. And yes there's still 5 year value in drafting Bijan. Lots of options but not sure what I'd do without my crystal ball.

I will agree last season was filled with bad luck, drama and over the top chaos. No team could've advanced with all that. 13 seconds was not bad luck but a complete coaching meltdown. And the year before we just weren't quite ready. Mahomes is the king but he also has an offensive HC I'd dream of Josh having. But you're right, show me the Lombardi.
