  1. Once the NFL selects their darling (Mahomes, Brady), everyone else no matter how high up the qb tier you are is chasing. Not to mention a disadvantage.
  2. Dorsey did an embarrassing job of adjusting early in London. His inconsistent play calling will be an issue throughout the season.
  3. Oh it was official a very long time ago.
  4. At least some optimism...we'll see where they're at in January.
  5. Who knows...we're getting very little information about the details of their injuries. At this point they're both probably done.
  6. I agree...as much as his age & athleticism is a concern, you need his experience and leadership in their to work with Bernard & Williams. He'll do his job but don't expect a bunch of splash plays.
  7. Agree with everything. We win when we stress being behind center. We have to use play action 50% of the time. The shotgun draw should be eliminated immediately. Stop throwing the ball 3 yards behind the LOS. Stop pitching the ball to Cook 3 yards behind the LOS. These are obvious plays that are failing every time. Dorsey is no Reid, Shanahan or McDaniel. So you gotta hope he learns from his inconsistencies and draws up a few clever plays. I'm not a fan of a scripted first drive. Allow Josh to check out of plays early, which didn't happen in London. It took KD over 3 qtrs to figure out Jacksonville's heavy boxes. The dink & dunk strategy does work against weaker teams/ HC's. But better opponents you have to identify their early defensive scheme and attack it without scripted plays. Take your shots deep when they are available.
  8. Why don't we hire better conditioning staff so these players don't drop like flies. We already know our equipment managers can't get the cleats right. Then none of these trades would be necessary.
  9. Micah is playing better and Poyer will be the first safety gone. But Micah (as much as I love Hyde) is not too far behind Jordan. Aside from RT/WR, DB's will be emphasized next year come draft time.
  10. We could've absorbed the Tre loss. But losing these 2 in London just F's the season. Don't be surprised if you see "amped Josh" more in situations where he took the short stuff given. We'll have to rely basically on the offense.
  11. The challenge for Josh & Dorsey will be to find a happy medium based on defensive alignment. The Raiders & Commanders gave us the short stuff and we routed them. The Jags put 8-9 in the box (1st Q) and we took too long to react. This will be the mantra all year. Not every team will go deep cover2. Every game will require discipline with the occasional threat of hero ball.
  12. I agree both our safeties are done. Was hoping Rapp would be a little more dynamic. Who knows how much Hamlin plays, if at all? We will definitely need all 4 of our top pass rushers healthy and firing on all cylinders soon. Bernard & Williams will be trial by fire w/o Milano.
  13. Either arrive Monday night or don't go at all. Seattle thought they were ready and they looked terrible in their game. The idea of a permanent team in London is insanity. And 50% of the fans in Tottenham probably flew out. It's not going to work logistically.
  14. What happened to Roger Goodell having an obligation to the players and their safety. Every Stupid London game should require both teams to fly out Monday. Every stupid London game MUST REQUIRE a grass field or "deals off wankers". Never schedule the same team 2 straight games there. And if Jacksonville wants the London franchise, let them have it. It's not like Jags fans show up in Florida anyway. Require all games to start at 7pm London time. We very well might have lost a chance at a strong SB run because of Goodell's greed, over player safety and prep.
  15. This Jags mess was predominantly on the coaches. First for being stupid not to fly out Monday. Then for Dorsey to not realize early in the game that the Jags were willing to give up deep shots with 8-9 in the box. Everything after that with concrete turf, injuries & penalties just put salt on the wound. This game was a lost cause when the schedule broke. Hopefully McD/Terry never agree again during the Allen era. I am encouraged that Josh has realized the value of taking what they give you since the Jets game. Unfortunately KD didn't identify the defense quickly enough. JA still had a very good day. Drops & playcalling failed him. They'll be a time for selective hero ball but choose your spots wisely.
  16. If Jones can help in the playoffs I'll take it. I don't have alot of faith in Ford or Settle. Losing 58 is f ing brutal.
  17. We held them to 11 points with 7 minutes left. Under-staffed and injury riddled. They had to eventually tire considering how worthless our offense was. Considering the circumstances I was happy with the D.
  18. 1. The team didn't stand a chance once the schedule came out. Goodell and his greed made sure of that. 2. Dorsey did a crappy job adjusting to early heavy boxes. And for some stupid reason he abandoned the behind center play action. 3. Multiple dropped passes that killed drives. 4. Deciding to leave Thursday instead of Monday.
  19. F Roger Goodell....this pos would never dream of sending overseas one of the elite nfl darlings. He might as well tag us with an L as soon as the schedule came out.
  20. ....please don't say London...too soon
  21. We might as well have signed Greg Norman....good Lord?
  22. If you had asked me a year ago, I'd say yes. But AJE has risen as a viable disruptor. And considering all the players going down, there's no way I trade AJ. Keeping him over Boogie was the right move.
  23. That's one guy we should never have let get away.
