  1. Hopefully at least 15' high
  2. I agree wholeheartedly. It wouldn't have been a simple or easy trade up. The Hill chart shows Jacksonville's pick worth 296. Our pick was worth 216 and the 2nd round Cole Bishop pick at 88. That puts the trade at 304. Then maybe Brandon sweetens the deal with a 2025 4th round pick. I wasn't overly impressed with Coleman or Bishop last year but it's just one season. Hopefully they both take huge positive strides this year. But I can't help but visualize Josh with BTJ for 8 years. Be bold, be aggressive, take chances. They did it with Josh and it paid off with a lottery jackpot.
  3. I've said this constantly over the last 2 years. Once we knew Stefon had reactivated diva mode, we should've been "uber" aggressive to find his replacement. I thought BTJ was attainable. And even DKM could've been considered more? If Keon doesn't pan out, this wr room will have to be enhanced by Josh's greatness. I love that this draft was heavy D. But there better be a moment real soon when Beane targets that speed WR1 that 17 deserves.
  4. He's going to have greater opportunities with Josh and our offense to showcase his talents. The Browns qb room is ugh.
  5. So it's safe to say he's never been involved in drafting a WR1 in his entire career.
  6. Would I someday like a speed WR1 who develops crazy chemistry with Josh....yes. Is it mandatory for the success of our offense...no. Last season we were the #2 offense in the NFL scoring 31pts/ game. So you could argue we had the #2 wr group in the NFL. Is our wr room riddled with big names....no. But we clearly saw Josh spread the wealth. Running the ball successfully and hitting on a ton of intermediate routes worked just fine. Our speed wr will come eventually.
  7. Opposing DC's know Josh can struggle from time to time with deep throws. There's not as much threat from us if we not only lack a speed wr, but have a qb where the deep ball is not one of his strengths. They're less likely to pinch a safety that side. Drafting Coleman kinda validates your theory. Josh thrives on the intermediate routes.
  8. Totally agree...the floor rose but the ceiling didn't. Hairston will be a nice CB2 but the gamewrecker has gotta come from Sanders, Jackson or Walker. I just don't know if any of these 3 can duplicate what Chris Jones does?
  9. I voice exactly what @Logic said and many others. I thought we got tremendous value with our first 5 picks. I don't know if we have a future game wrecker to put Patrick down, but these were defensive needs. Would've liked a wr in the 5th. I see Prather as a Shavers PS body. My vote was A-......
  10. 5.68 Bottom of the barrel or practice squad...there ya go Josh, make lemonade out of lemons.
  11. This offense will depend on both Coleman and Kincaid playing better than last season. And frankly saying it's 50/50 to see that jump is accurate. I think the Cooper ship has sailed. He didn't establish the chemistry needed with Josh. I think Josh trusts Shakir the most, but after him who knows?
  12. Not making more of an effort to go after BTJ will always bother me. Josh has had one legit WR1 in his career and unfortunately he morphed back to diva mode. Last year was a monster wr class and who knows what we have in Keon? I totally understand the frustrations of many Bills fans. Josh holds up his end of the bargain every year. I love the aggressive defensive draft this weekend but would it have killed Brandon to skip one CB for Thornton or Horton?
  13. The only way we can create deception is if we actually throw to this guy in formation. If not he just becomes Anderson 2.0 and the D knows it's a run.
