I can’t even enjoy yours tears anymore because it’s so tiresome. -
Bi-Partisan Infrastructure Deal!
Governor replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
When the extreme left and right hate something, it means it’s just exactly right. Biden’s team has excelled at finding that place. It’s not easy these days. Commie Kay will have a few more bites at the apple. Like Biden said, there’s no single piece of legislation that fixes the entire planet. -
Bi-Partisan Infrastructure Deal!

I don’t have problem with the Squad voting against the bill. It’s a “privatized” infrastructure bill and even if you remove some of the non-related stuff progressives wanted in the bill, perhaps it didn’t bring home enough bacon for the people in those districts. That’s government working the way it should. Did Nancy know she had enough votes to provide cover for the Squad? Absolutely! She’s a wizard and the best House leader in history. -
That would be pretty exciting.

https://www.alternet.org/2020/11/heres-why-so-many-white-women-voted-for-trump-analysis/ None of this is very earth shattering. We’ve seen this behavior for decades. It shows up in polling and focus groups. “However one defines it, a majority of white women voted for Trump to protect what they have – status, income, tax advantage, whatever – despite Trump's anti-woman attitudes and record.” Now, who is “perceived” to be threatening those things?

It isn’t anything like the Trump years. Go outside.

Workers have much more leverage now. Trickle-up is actually working. We’ll have to see what happens a few years from now. Lots of things all came together to create this environment including Covid. I don’t know what’s happening in the South or Florida since the wage floor is much higher in NJ. They probably aren’t seeing what I’m seeing right now. What I can tell you is that there’s tons of entry level warehouse/manufacturing jobs that all pay 20-30 an hour. These jobs never existed when I entered adulthood. If you want a decent job with a much fairer wage, you can pick and chose.

First few years? The David Gerrard, MJD, McCardell teams were better than the early Brunell teams. -

How do you deep down, really feel about this defense?

2003 Bucs were the last truly elite defense. They shut everyone down. -
Lock him up!

I realized a few weeks ago that there’s a chunk of people out there that worked all the way through Covid uninterrupted and don’t see what’s happening out there in the job market since they’ve been at the same job so long. Its real and it’s amazing.

We haven’t seen economic conditions more favorable to working class people in 50 years. Stop pretending everything is doom and gloom. You’re grossly underpaid. We all are. Demand a large raise. They can’t replace you for what they’re paying you right now. We likely won’t see this again in our lifetime. You’ll never again have the leverage you have today. Take advantage and better yourself. Dont let this moment pass you by. You don’t have to give Joe recognition for it. Just do it.
-
Don’t live in denial. If you feel things haven’t improved for you personally, now is the time to ask for a raise, because everyone beneath you just caught up to you. Dont be the guy that sits there and can’t see what’s going on in the job sector.

DeSantis For President in 2024?
Governor replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
The numbers speak for themselves. -
Yes. That’s what the jobs report shows. It’s trickle up instead of trickle down. Upward mobility for lower/middle class workers has never been better. That wasn’t Bernie or progressives that did that. That was Nancy who took advantage of a scared Trump administration and doubled all of their wages during a pandemic with relief policy. Dont worry, Nancy doesn’t want your recognition because she’s the last of the true public servants in this country. She delivered.
-
Thank you Joe for reviving the lower and middle class. Best jobs/wages report in my lifetime. We all knew you could do it. Ok, Nancy did it, but you deserve credit also.

DeSantis For President in 2024?

That’s because everyone died dude. As Governor, aren’t you supposed to protect the citizens in your state? I can picture the campaign last week. We aren’t being invited to Fox like we were before so how do we change that? Lets announce that we’re assembling a police force to battle voter fraud! Dunno, that reeks of desperation to me. To become a viable candidate he has to hire a much better team. They’re a bunch of knot-heads. Maybe he will hire a new team. They’re very amateurish. -

He’s directly responsible for the most American deaths since a vaccine became available. Thats really bad. How do you miss that layup when there’s a vaccine? He misplayed that terribly and now he’s just yelling at clouds to stay relevant, which BTW isn’t working so well. Whats his new scam again? He’s going to assemble a task force to battle election fraud? LMAO. Talk about desperation. Jeez. That’s really pathetic. Even Trump laughed at that one. -
Yeah, that’s great, but you have to keep it in perspective. Turnout was “this” much higher than the last governor’s race in Virginia that had no turnout. Mail-in voting has obviously helped and that’s great, but let’s not pretend that it’s anywhere near presidential turnout. I guess you didn’t see the jobs/wages numbers today. Best in my lifetime.

Dunno. He looked 30 in that KC game. I’m 46 and and roughly his size but a few inches taller and I don’t think I could survive a full season of passes that put your body in really bad situations like we’ve seen previously. it doesn’t look like he has all that much left to me. Josh puts him in terrible positions and I admire how he brings them down, but I never felt he could do it another full season.
-
He had broken bones and couldn’t run during the KC game. He likely had multiple other injuries also. “You can’t dance with a broken leg” is what I heard over the loudspeaker numerous times before the Dead came onstage at Giants Stadium and we all jumped the 14 ft. wall anyway and some broke their legs and ankles.

A governors race in Virginia against a retread Clinton era democrat was their SB win. When you take a step back you realize that everyone is about short term wins. There’s no long term plan for moving the party forward, and that’s because they’ve all become opportunists that get in and get out. None of them actually care about policy. Some in this country made a huge error thinking that bringing in a bunch of businessmen and the clowns on their coattails was better than life long public servants that might’ve overstated their welcome within a breaking system. What does Matt Gaetz care about the long term health of his district and country?
