The elite QBs in the league advance every year and the Pats don’t have one right now. Buffalo won’t be running all that much. People are asking a bit much from this Pat’s team.

Op: Shame? You can’t shame the shameless. There is no bottom for these people. I could tell a few months ago that you were watching too much fake news. I turned it off completely about a year ago. A few months ago I also stopped using Twitter unless it’s NFL related. I’ll just stick to campaigns and election coverage, economic/worker news, etc. But yes, people are running out of things to be outraged about and there’s a whole year until the midterms. You also have Donald, and DeSantis to a lesser degree, flailing around in the background trying to stay relevant and hold onto control of the party. Taking a step back from all of the nonsense, you realize the GOP has a terrible group of candidates running in the next cycle. Like, actual crazy people. So, they have to somehow keep people angry AND get them to vote for extremely unelectable candidates. That can’t really work in senate races. Trump definitely isn’t helping. Infrastructure bill passed. I could keep going… That’s a very favorable political environment for Dems 8 months from now. Can Irv and the gang pretend these things aren’t happening for a whole year? It kinda looks like Irv might be left twisting in the wind here soon. In the meantime, it looks like the Feds will be quite busy raiding and locking up these Trumper criminals. Trouble ahead for the cult. As far as gridlock, the House is the SB for the GOP. That’s the new norm. Unfortunately, Biden’s domestic agenda will already be completed by the midterms and I expect him to shift to foreign policy so the House will go back to being mostly ignored. A GOP clown show in the House for 2 years favors Democrats in the next presidential. It’s a gift. They keep showering us with gifts. Voters will need to be reminded just how stupid they are and vote accordingly. Perhaps we can finish that Hillary investigation? Impeachment? Ok, I’m getting excited here so I’ll stop.

He seemed to regain a little of his speed early on last week, which surprised me, but there’s no reason to believe he will have anything left after a playoff run, judging by the vicious pounding he took last season. He will retire.
-
He is finishing his career with us. He’s totally shot and will retire or be voided at the end of the season. We’ll be drafting his replacement or signing a FA after our SB victory. How long did people think he could play?

I’ve been sweating this game for months. They’ll get going at some point. Very balanced.

Star Lotulelei OUT with COVID - Could Miss Next Week Too
Governor replied to JohnNord's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’m starting to wonder if half of these players already had Covid multiple times last season and the league hid it, therefore some players don’t think they actually need the vaccine, which is also stupid, but not quite as stupid. -

He would’ve helped in the first KC game when they gashed us all night. -

Hard to say. He could’ve been the difference in where that game was played tho. -

What’s infuriating about it is that we probably would’ve made the SB with him last year. Tampa would’ve stomped us but still. -

We’re not running on this defense. I wouldn’t do it. -

Since we’re all fixated on the offense and OL, I expect the defense to not show up today. Edit: just saw Star news. SMH. -
Well, we need a spark to carry us the rest of the way and that’s gotta be at the RB position or Knox becoming unstoppable, or both. The players on the field over the last 2 weeks won’t/can’t get us where we need to be to make a serious deep run.
-
He’s taken a terrible beating from badly placed balls and it appears it’s taken a toll on him. We agree.
-
I watch him in every game. He’s lost a few steps. I don’t think it would take much to replace him and his production. Josh makes him look a lot better than he actually is. I’m hoping to get 2-3 more good games out of him. That’s better than no games. I’ll take anything at this point.
-
I’m just speaking of his ability on the field. I thought we’d draft his replacement in the last draft. He’s old. Not sure why fans thought we’d get another 2 full seasons out of him. The future holes on this team are expanding because we might’ve swung and missed on multiple early picks, especially Ford. Not a great situation moving forward. By the time we replace these holes, Diggs will be at the end of his career.
-
Look at the body language. His lashing out might partly be his frustration that his body is breaking down. I have no reason to believe he recovered from last year’s injuries. He’s very slow. His facial expressions tell the story. He’s definitely trending towards retirement.
-
He isn’t last year’s Beas. He’s got absolutely nothing left. It’s time for us to accept that and move forward. He has no trade value at this point. That time passed. Next couple of years? No, definitely not. This is his last year as a Bill.
-
He must have ball security issues. McD is very weird about that and did the same with Yeldon. Yup. We’re not getting anymore production from him this season. He’s done. He looks it on the field also. If Beas we’re a Patriot, he would’ve been traded in the offseason.
-
I think we need to give the other kid a try. McD is terrified to play someone that might fumble and that needs to change. We aren’t playing games where field position really matters. If he fumbles twice, then sure, go ahead and yank him. So I would go Williams and Stalling Motor.
