Chargers would be 7 if they somehow made it in. They really suck. So we would probably be the 5(schedule) then Denver.

We needed that 6 years ago. He lied, distracted, blamed and fired coordinators, hired specialists, all to save his beloved scheme. He’s not giving it up. You have to fire him.

At this point I would bet Denver finishes better than the Chargers but I expect KC to crush both of them.

Oh I dunno, from the outside the Rex hire was god awful. I remember coming to the board expecting everyone to be losing their minds and everyone had somehow flipped and loved the hire! I was a very confused fan that day. I hated Rex and I knew our defense would be gone. At least it was quick unlike McD. I actually liked Marrone but had forgotten about most of the details.

Terry really just went down the list in “Running an NFL team for dum dums.” 1. Marrone. Young, local, offensive minded, forget the other reasons. Media, fans, and players make it known that they don’t love the guy. Fired. 2. Rex, which signaled a shift to the “players coach” approach. Rex Wrecks everything and the building becomes a flophouse. Fired. 3. Doing a complete 180, in comes McD selling the next option on the list which was “culture.” 4.

He’s done so many weird things over the years. The hyper focusing on building a team to specifically beat the Chiefs, only to find out a few years later that the Chiefs no longer looked like the team you’ve been emulating and hoped to beat. That left us very vulnerable and we’re extremely fortunate that the Ravens didn’t knock us out. How about just be the best version of yourself.

Are you sure it wasn’t about Tom Brady? Was the culture transferred to Tampa? What happened to Patriot Way when Tom Brady left?

All of this yearning for culture started when people became convinced that no great players would ever willingly come to Buffalo unless we drastically overpaid them or offered something else magical to lure people there.

For years now our fans have elevated the importance of this mysterious culture. It’s just become an automatic defense, tired talking point because there just isn’t much else great to say about the situation. We have a defensive HC and his defense sucks. Truth is, 9 out of 10 NFL coaches could create a culture good enough to win a SB if the talent is there. Rex Ryan probably being that 1 that can’t. Lmao

10 wins looks right to me too. I think we lose to Carolina, the wheels come off and someone is fired, then we put together a few wins. Bucs loss for sure. Did you guys see the Falcon RB change direction just to flatten Rapp on his way to the end zone? We have serious problems.

The drafts have been bad, but I tend to believe that it’s also a McD problem. They’ve both been packing this roster with undersized players the whole time. That strategy didn’t begin to shift until the Coleman pick, and they really didn’t shift far enough yet. I think Beane finally realized what some of us saw jump off the screen in the playoff games. The Chiefs were just a lot bigger than us, especially on defense. I never understood why they wanted so many small guys. My biggest problem with Beane has actually been his pre-draft and post-draft signing process(filling holes)and the quality of those players. He’s wasted so much money. He panics trying to fill holes and he panics during the draft too. He also telegraphs his picks by the holes he fills and ALWAYS drafts for immediate need.

So they’re 1-5 now. I see a minimum of 4 more losses on that schedule. So 8-9. I think they’re out.

I didn’t think Steelers would be good but I have the admit that they look pretty comfortable out there. A true plug and play situation. Just deliver the ball and we’ll do the rest.

Do owners typically do that?

Definitely not top 5. They came back down to earth and that’s another problem now. The 2 tackles are apparently the issue now. Interior line seems to be adequate.

Like Geary, a lot of us are realizing that a bunch of our players aren’t as good as we thought they were and probably shouldn’t have been kept, paid, or extended. Benford, Rapp, Bernard, etc. We screwed up bad. Forced throws to Keon are real tired already. Definitely not everyone eats.

I think he’s got 1 more little run in him this season with this staff but I do mostly agree. He’s entering the IDGAF stage. I’m sure he can see that the roster is once again not good enough and I’m sure he probably wants to chop off McD’s hands to stop the clapping. Now he has to look at these goofy glasses. Like come on dude. Stop it.

He needed to be gone years ago. Each year that we wait shrinks the amount of time a new HC has to win a SB with Josh. He has to still have some trade value at the end. The new HC should get 2 seasons to transform this roster from a high/character low ceiling roster to one that’s highly skilled and SB caliber. It won’t be easy. If he can’t, you have to trade Josh and let him purge the roster. The longer we wait, the harder it gets.

He needs a new HC, a new direction, to bring back some excitement. This will become clear to most in the coming weeks. This team is very stale this season.

I agree that it’s a lot different this time. The OL is just getting annihilated in some of these games.

Some say 49ers are elite.

The very first thing this team has to do to move forward is get him off the field. No future game plan should involve him. The forced, low percentage throws are killing drives and momentum.

It had to be McD. He’s terrified of him being in there when the OL is getting destroyed like that.

Someone said he was removed at the 11 minute mark and didn’t return. Cover 1 kid I believe.
