And there’s an arrogance there thinking he can draft projects and turn them into stars. Our drafts have been terrible.

This game would be going to OT if it was McD. Hes the king of blowing leads with a zone prevent.

Our DL is pathetic. They all need to be gone. -

Hard to beat the Chiefs and the refs every post-season
Governor replied to ChronicAndKnuckles's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’ll add that there’s multiple “give back” calls to the team that just got robbed by their mistakes in each game now which makes it feel rigged and controlled by the refs. -
Did Lamar even show up to the ceremony? Burrow and Goff were there.

I think it was pretty much decided right after the Lion’s game. Everything after that was a panicked, last ditch Lamar lobby to try to steal it at the end. There really wasn’t an opportunity because Ravens played crappy teams after that. No one was still fooled by the Steelers so it really didn’t help him.

Rewind to right before the 1st Bills vs. Ravens playoff game. The media and most casual fans thought for sure that the next decade would be between Mahomes and Lamar. Josh destroys Lamar in that playoff game and it instantly becomes Mahomes vs. Allen. He totally steals Lamar’s thunder and Lamar becomes an afterthought. All of these people you hear never got over that. They still haven’t. Thats where the vitriol comes from. Lamar’s glory was TAKEN AWAY by Josh Allen. Lamar’s perceived trajectory was destroyed after that game. That is why you see a look of disgust on media personalities faces when discussing Allen. That hate is real.

Lamar: Go win something! Josh: k thanks

I would just continue to sign veterans each year for Cooper’s spot. 1 young 1 old at WR. Maybe we’ll find one that has 2 seasons left. Cooper can go elsewhere.

Bills hire Jason Rebrovich as assistant defensive line coach

Hail Mary defensive coach. -
I’m heavily leaning towards you being right about that.

Maybe we should copy the Seahawks old approach?

Beane has to do both in one offseason or he’s toast. He knows that. -
Right, we’re over performing enough to beat most teams but when we face KC the talent gap jumps off the screen at you on the first snap. We’re also undersized. We need top-shelf talent but Beane keeps missing on them or drafts projects that need to gain/shed weight and 3-4 years to develop. No more project players in the first 2 rounds. Epenesa was a god awful pick. 75 percent chance Coleman is out of the league in 3 years. KC is 2-3 years ahead of us on size so we’re not going to close that gap unless we draft absolute monsters with every pick.

Hot Take: Does Bobby Babich Lose His Job?
Governor replied to BillsFan130's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’ve been saying this for months. I kinda see it as McD’s next maturation step in coaching but then he did start to adjust the scheme which I welcomed. -
Some thoughts on why we can't get over the hump

Our OL was overwhelmed most of the night. It was the main issue in the game. They built a very large defense and it showed. Size is still a major issue. -
Will there be any shock organizational moves in the coming days/weeks?

Beane shouldn’t buy any bananas this week. -
I think Cook had to come out because the OL was getting blowed up so bad and he can’t block.

This game was really interesting. It was full of brief flashbacks of all the issues (big and small) the team has ever encountered along the way since Josh was drafted, even with moments that reminded me of the Texans playoff game Josh/OL issues/inexperience. High moments, low moments, failure, success, excitement, dread, joy, sadness. It had it all in one game. -
