A defensive guru doesn’t get to use that as an excuse. -

Last week too. Guy drops a lot. -
Hey, In the hunt was fun too just in different ways. I also had finger nails back then too.

Well that’s reassuring. I’ve only seen 2 Ravens game this year and was expecting to see major passing improvement. He’s still very hesitant to throw the ball. I agree about the seam routes.

He’s not passing.

Lamar looks like the same guy to me.

Fitzpatrick and Wood talking trash about Marrone

Yeah, at the end of the day, our team played hard for him and he got pretty good results with what we had. I don’t have to like the guy. Radio in Buffalo went on and on for weeks about not going for it on a 4th down and did everything they could to run him out of town. -
Isn't This Game the Ultimate Referendum on Beane?
Governor replied to Rich Stadium Original's topic in The Stadium Wall
Right but you chose 3 or 4 years out of 20 years they choked. When someone says Chargers, I think Stan Humphries, Flutie, etc. I think back to 1994-95. So that’s why I’m hesitant to call them the Chargers at this moment. Lol -
Isn't This Game the Ultimate Referendum on Beane?

I would say so but I think the Colts may be a better comparison. I don’t think we’re quite in Norv territory yet. You could set your watch to those meltdowns. We would become…. The Bills are in it again? Oh jeez. Was Nick Wright even alive yet for Marty? I doubt he was old enough to truly understand how the nation felt about those teams at the time. One thing I will say. No one on the street thought those Chargers teams were winning anything ever so although the records are similar, the situation is quite different. There aren’t mobs of people out there guaranteeing a Bills loss. Calling us the Chargers right now is a total slap to the face. -
It’s just typical Bills hive mind behavior. I’m used to it.

The Bills organization is basically a Christian halfway house for troubled teens (coaches.) Leslie Frazier is a good example. He was basically out of the league before being taken in by McD and Beane. https://www.syracuse.com/buffalo-bills/2021/02/how-bills-helped-ron-rivera-washington-football-teams-rebuild-in-2020.html You take Rivera’s history with McD and Beane in Carolina, their friendship and connections since, Buffalo’s history of taking people in to get a fresh start, and you’ve got yourself a situation that’s about as slam dunk as you’d ever see. There’s a ton of history there and many other sources going into detail about it over the years. Lots of interesting reading there. You should take a gander.

He isn’t on the hot seat. The game hasn’t been played yet. Some would probably tell you his seat has been hot after the Philly game. Others would tell you it’s SB or be gone. My position is that he must appear in the championship game to be safe. He doesn’t have to win that game IMO. Its not likely that these folks opinions changed because they feel bad for him because of Dunne’s article.

Cowher got so much hype early in his career and a lot of those losses were quite humiliating. He was very overrated. He was the “tough guy” coach.

What is your gut telling you right now?

The KC defense will take it up a notch for the 2nd time in franchise history. That’s extremely rare since I’ve been alive. Even the Derrick Thomas defense never actually showed up in the playoffs. Kelce will be open regularly but can he catch? Can anyone catch? Rice was just a flash in the pan. They will need points coming from someone else. Low scoring game. A snooze fest at times. -
20/hr. same as the shovelers.

Divisional Round, Chefs v. Bills - PREDICT THE SCORE
Governor replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah, it’s going to be a 3 point game. 20 Bills 17 -
I was attacked by the paid McD apologists. I have to defend myself.

What’s fascinating is that McD totally flakes out for 1 full quarter in each game. Last week was no exception. The team is also a reflection of him and they also flake out for a full quarter, but sometimes they’re different quarters. The problem is that you never know when it’s going to happen and you’re left hanging on for dear life if it happens in the 4th quarter.
