If we’re going to keep this awful defense and scheme then I don’t want any more draft capital being spent on that side of the ball.

Once the dust settles after Frazier is fired, we’ll start to see the next moves and I’d be good with a total transformation of the defense even if it takes a full season to be decent. McD is in a spot now where something has to change on defense or he will probably be fired after next season. That’s totally preventable if he just man’s up and does what’s needed.

There’s always a team out there that thinks they can fix a player but I’d say a mid-3rd and maybe a later pick along with it. Definitely not a 2nd unless it’s a team that doesn’t value draft picks like the Rams. I think we need to replace both LBs. Bring in a vet and draft another somewhat early. I wanted that last season but now the situation is dire.

This post could’ve been from last season. Here we are a year later and he still sucks just the same. We understand what his responsibilities are. We’re saying that he isn’t good at those responsibilities.

Hopefully Edmunds is gone after we fire Frazier in a few weeks when the HC jobs are all filled. A 2nd round pick via trade would be wonderful.

It wouldn’t surprise me if this whole thing blows up and the players strike next year. From everything I’ve heard, players love Flores and he wouldn’t put himself out there like this without knowing he had other coaches and players backing him, including Dungy, etc. Congress most certainly will step in and set the owners straight which will incrementally move the dial.

I haven’t really followed the details of the gambling but it’s always been known that gambling, lottery, etc. disproportionately hurts lower class Americans the most, therefore at the very least government should take portions of that money for education(like the lottery)and it should be taxed to bejesus to deter the obvious unethical behavior.

I said that it was “Flores’ job to lose” which he apparently did in the 11th hour, if you accept the Giant’s response to the accusations. You went down the conspiracy rabbit hole long before I did. I simply followed you down and threw out some possibilities if I were to believe your theory, and commented on the possible fallout from the gruesome racial scandal ex-Bills could be part of. You said I was wrong. The Giants said I was right. If you’re a fan of Daboll and Schoen, you want this story to end. You should want to accept the Giant’s response, but that would also mean accepting that you were wrong by saying Daboll had the job on day 1 days ago when I originally posted that it was Flores job to lose.

He likely knew he had the job before “Flores” 2nd scheduled interview, not his own. I’m glad these people are out of Buffalo. The Schoen fella seems pretty slimy. Mara decided to hire Daboll. The Mara family was present for Daboll’s interviews. What happened concerning Flores we can only guess. BB wouldn’t need to contact Schoen. He could just get the news from the guy who does the hiring. No one has any idea who Schoen is here. They just know he’s caught in a racial scandal his first week on the job. We can’t wait to get the juicy details.

He looks like an entitled guy that didn’t tip his friend off that the fix was in and the job was already gone before he traveled back to NJ for a 2nd interview. Flores got the news by mistake text. People are pretty mad here. It’s definitely not a good start for Daboll and Schoen when their initial goal was to build a new culture and remove the organizational dysfunction that’s gone on for years here in NJ. The whole thing smells bad and has people saying “same old giants.” Wait until fans find out Daboll doesn’t have a running game. Oh boy. Running game and defense is everything to these people. He’ll be 1 and done here.

You’re making a bunch of assumptions that might not be true. We know that Flores was in East Rutherford for interview 2 the morning I last posted. That was reported locally, and on NFL Network later in the day. Did he actually have that 2nd interview? Is it mentioned in the suit? Did he find out that morning that the fix was in for Daboll? Why would Schoen have a second interview then? Did he not show up to that interview? Is that what made Flores go ballistic? Did Flores come all the way here knowing the job was already gone and was just setting the trap for his suit? Of course. Most Bills fans don’t understand how the Giants operate. All major decisions are made by Mara.

According to the Giants response, I ended up being exactly right until the last minute……or we were fed this information and it was a total sham and Daboll was the guy days before. Either way, it looks pretty bad now. Why would communications have to leak from Schoen? Are you implying the Schoen 2 days on the job was running a tight ship, , Beane-like wizardry, that we so often hear about around here? Schoen is a puppet. A puppet that’s now caught in the middle of a terrible mess.

We should all know by now that you have to be all-in with McD’s religious cult or you’re shunned and forced out. Daboll was probably an outsider and logical man.

I don’t think Josh will stay 3 more years if we keep losing like that. Everyone has a limit.

Years ago, the biggest loser chokers were Wade Phillips and then Andy Reid, but Wade finally won a SB. That made me really mad when that happened. Reid eventually put great people around him which offset his choking abilities during games and had just enough to finally win one.

I totally agree with you. Milano is extremely overrated. I would like to see both LB’s gone along with a new DC. I wanted them gone last season. There were plenty that we could’ve drafted. These aren’t NEW problems. They were quite apparent after last season. We just aren’t good enough. There was a long stretch where our soft play seemed to be working and Mahomes had nowhere to go with the ball, but this defense didn’t have a 4th quarter strategy. They can only play 1 way, and that’s with Edmunds standing in the middle of the field with his arms out flying an airplane.
