  1. You are right. They’ve done it numerous times and at times it seems very stubborn. McD is definitely not someone who takes risks. I do support the benching of players that fumble though. He also specifically signed Hines to eliminate the risk of McKenzie ever fumbling another kick return. That was a disaster waiting to happen. That’s smart preemptive coaching. He basically eliminates the possible areas where we could choke a game/title away. Some I support, some not.
  2. Good point. Tre is gonna have to sit until next season. He can’t be out there in a playoff game unless it’s against the Ravens or Pats.
  3. This was about to be the Bengals version of our perfect game vs. New England. They were blowing us away. No half time adjustment was slowing them down that night.
  4. It’s a real shame but Tre needs to see the bench asap. Everyone from here on out is going after him early and often. There’s no way he starts in the playoff game.
  5. The Bengals were going to trounce us by 3 scores. Tre was being abused out there and it wasn’t going to stop.
  6. McD will do the right thing and insist on the forfeit. You can’t punish the other team.
  7. The Bengals were winning the game when play stopped. That has to factor into the decision slightly. Forfeit is really the only fair thing to do, not that it really matters at this point.
  8. Well, we know why that is. They’re family.
  9. It definitely slowed him down. It was the play where he was being held up around his waist and took a few hits. He should just go down in those scenarios.
  10. You broke the golden rule. You were looking a few weeks down the road into the playoffs and THAT is why we’ll lose. 1 week at a time.
  11. Thuney is floppin around like a fish.
  12. We understand his role. The problem is that he doesn’t make the play when the ball or ball carrier enters his area of the field.
  13. 1. Overall, during the McD era, we’ve been a slightly better road team. The team has been much more focused and plays a more complete game on the road. We look great at home maybe twice a year. It’s usually 1 great quarter and 3 terribly sloppy quarters. 2. it’s not the playoffs yet.
  14. Beane doesn’t draft BPA. He drafts what he thinks is the BPA at specific positions of immediate need.
  15. Yes. There were at least 3 in the 1st quarter alone by White.
  16. I was very discouraged after the game and felt really bad for Josh. There was a series towards the end where the coaching staff called a bunch of designed runs, not because they were changing things up, or saw something schematically, but because they knew the offensive line couldn’t block for 2 seconds for a pass play to develop. It felt like a total surrender and highlights the terrible job Beane has done over the years to protect the kid.
  17. That’s been Frazier’s defense his whole career.
  18. I wonder if we’ll reach a point where teams have 2 starting QBs and it becomes game plan specific or situational. The Pats will probably try it at some point.
  19. They already know the answer to that, which is why Roman is there in the first place. I think they move on from both next season.
  20. They were never going to pay him. I expect them to clean house after this season. Problem is that it requires the OC to be fired also, but that will be the move very soon.
  21. Well, it took some time, but the GOP as I’ve always known it (48 years) is officially dead. It gets worse too. There is no road back to Conservatism. The party can’t start over until they do away with their media echo chamber. What once helped them, finished them off.
  22. We don’t have the physical defenses Brady had and we never will under this regime.
  23. I think he sustained a shoulder injury on one of his runs. Ball hasn’t come out well since.
