  1. They are a Canadian thing. These days, you can find them in some US grocery stores. They taste similar to BBQ chips, but different. They’re savory, salty, a little sweet. Uh...let’s consult the interwebs: All-dressed (assaisonnées in French) or colloquially known as "Dressed All Over" chips are a potato chip flavour popular in Canada. The flavour combines the potato chip flavours of barbecue, ketchup, sour cream and onion, and salt and vinegar. I know that sounds weird, but they’re delightful. I learned about them through Letterkenny.
  2. Great post. I was planning to post something just like this. Specifically, as we move forward, I expect the Bills to draft with the future and the salary cap in mind. So for instance, they might draft a safety even though they have two good ones. Why? Because they can’t pay everyone and they have to plan for the future. I expect them them to take a WR this year. They may not immediately have a “need” for one, but Brown and Beasley are pushing 30, and with Diggs (who may need a contract renegotiation in years to come) on board, they’ve got to plan for the future. This is how good, smart, well built and we’ll managed teams draft.
  3. Curtis Weaver, edge, Boise State
  4. Just me (ya know, social distancing and all). Will have various draft guides (digital and print) dialed up. Two Wyld weed gummies (Hey, it’s legal here! ?) Full Sail Hazy IPAs Bacon cheeseburgers, Lay’s all-dressed chips (Canadians know what’s up), chocolate peanut butter ice cream (blame the weed gummies). Happy Quarantine Super Bowl Christmas, everybody.
  5. Thanks. Yeah. I'm aware of The Ringer's intense love of Rhea Seehorn, and I echo them. She's fantastic, and vastly under-appreciated. Actually, the show itself is vastly under-appreciated. It's masterful stuff. That connection about the Tequila brand is wild. Another little callback was Dan Eladio saying "Selud" while sitting in the exact spot in which Fring kills him in the Breaking Bad episode titled..."Selud". The writers drop in so many easter eggs and callbacks, it's astounding. Really impressive.
  6. Just watched the finale. It was an excellent end to an excellent season. Rhea Seehorn deserves an Emmy. Kim Wexler is such a well written and well acted character. I never expected “slippin” Kimmy to break bad before Jimmy. And the callback to the season 4 finale (double finger guns) was great. Kim’s gonna end up in jail as a result of her scheme, I believe.
  7. Your WR corps now has a T.Y. and a K.J. Admit it, you’re just trying to corner the market on players with strange initials.
  8. With the 121st pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Las Vegas Raiders select Eno Benjamin, RB, Arizona State. This was an easy pick, as Benjamin was the highest rated player left on our board by a significant margin. He will form a potent duo with Josh Jacobs. Both backs can play all three downs. If Jacobs misses time, we won’t miss a beat. Benjamin provides a significant upgrade over Jalen Richard at RB2. @Philo and the Flyover Country Colts are now on the clock.
  9. I wouldn’t say NEED, but it might help. ? In all seriousness, the subject matter discussed in the show is intelligent, dense, and fascinating. Mostly of a metaphysical and/or spiritual nature.
  10. Totally necessary and not at all xenophobic! ? Anyway, Miller said himself he has only left his house maybe once or twice to get food, but has otherwise been home for over a month. Said a plumber and another work man came to his house during that time. All those speculating as to what activities he was engaged in to get the virus are doing just that — speculating.
  11. Anyone checked out this new show on Netflix? They smartly released it on 4/20. It's got audio pulled from Duncan Trussell's podcast interviews set to some trippy and outrageous animation by the fella who animated Adventure Time. The subject matter is, well...it's for a certain type of person. It's not for everyone. Personally, I was blown away. Thought it was fantastic. The things they discuss are right in my wheelhouse. Anyone?
  12. May I ask what offensive playbook you use for Buffalo? I've been using the Oakland playbook, which is filled with great outside zone runs that Singletary does pretty well with. My offensive production has tailed off lately, though. I feel like by this late in the year, it's mostly only good/experienced players online, and they've been shutting my offense down a lot lately. What are you doing on offense with Buffalo?
  13. Haha, likewise. Every now and then, the ***** Bills offense holds me back. They've got Singletary not being particularly effective, and it gets old watching Josh Allen throw the ball 9 yards from the intended target. Like, REALLY, ratings guys? When frustrated lately, I'll use the Vikings, because it's fun playing with Diggs (not to mention Dalvin Cook and Adam Thielen). But yeah...knowing how to use the Bills defense -- and, in particular, how to user-control Tremaine Edmunds and rack up interceptions -- makes them a tough team to score on. Are you a ps4 or Xbox guy?
  14. Lamar is pretty hard to stop in Madden, particularly in online matchups against users who know what to do with him. If you're controlling the Bills, all you have to do is spy him with Tremaine Edmunds all day long. Done and done.
  15. I'm not gonna lie....it wouldn't feel as good as winning one in a regular season. If the question is "would you rather win one or not win one during a shortened season?", well yeah, obviously I'd rather win one. But the Bills winning their first ever Lombardi in, say, a 12 game season, and/or with no fans in the stands? Yuck. It wouldn't feel the same.
  16. I find the notion laughable, frankly. Laughable that Peter King would try to influence the draft in some way and laughable that any NFL GM’s draft day decision making would actually be influenced by two journalists. I DO think Tua May fall and I DO think the Pats may draft him, but neither possibility has anything to do with King or Lombardi.
  17. Right. But the point is that players and their agents know this, too. Many players would rather bet on themselves, knowing that the earlier they sign, the less money they ultimately get. Not all players prioritize getting paid sooner over getting paid more. Every player is different.
  18. It takes two to tango on early extensions. I also disagree that they’ll try to re-sign Edmunds after 3 seasons, when they have him on a cost-controlled rookie deal for 1-2 seasons beyond that. What they do with Tre White will tell us a lot about how they view optimal extension windows.
  19. You and several other people have said you don’t think Milano will get paid. I disagree. I think they value having TWO three-down LBs more than most teams. See: Thomas Davis and Luke Kuechly. I also think they’ll pay Milano because they won’t have to pay Oliver or Edmunds for a few more seasons and don’t have to pay Allen quite yet, so they have the money to sign Milano. As the paydays for Oliver and Edmunds approach, they’ll have another decision to make on Milano. I think they’ll keep bringing in guys like Vosean Joseph to try to hit on an eventual Milano replacement, but I expect him to play a few more years in Buffalo. As someone else said in this thread, not everyone will get paid at the same time, so we can stagger things accordingly. As such, and with no other big money committed at linebacker, I believe Milano gets a second contract here.
  20. Agreed. Those were my exact answers. As such, I expect the team to start drafting more for the future and cap implications and less for immediate starters. For instance, they could take a safety at 54 this year, and many Bills fans will be upset or confused. Since they can’t pay everyone, though, it makes sense to get some cheap labor there. Ditto edge rushers.
  21. I’m no expert and I’m not betting my mortgage on anything, but those are my answers.
  22. I was just reading an article from The Athletic, which said this: “The hardest thing to find as a scout is a three-down linebacker,” said an AFC personnel man. “You’re in nickel 75 percent of the time. You can find these two-downs on every street corner. A three-down guy that never comes off the field, it’s impossible to find. They’ve got to be very, very smart.” That got me thinking that the Bills are more likely to re-sign Matt Milano than fans might suppose. It’s hard to find 3-down linebackers, and the Bills have TWO outstanding 3-Down guys, and given the importance of this type of linebacker to McDermott’s scheme, I believe Milano and Edmunds will both get big paydays. In turn, this got me thinking about who the Bills will and will not be handing out big deals to in the coming months and years. Generally speaking, NFL teams can afford to pay 6-8 players $10million+ deals. This forms a team’s core. The rest of the roster shuffles in and out, and good GMs can fill in the surrounding gaps year after year via the draft and free agency. Obviously, different teams value different things. I believe that, on defense, McDermott values strength up the middle. As such, I anticipate Oliver, Edmunds, and Milano receiving big paydays. I also don’t think they plan to let Tre White walk out the door. I expect those four players to make up Buffalo’s defensive core for the next decade. Offensively, I expect Dawkins to get paid and Diggs to get a raise. Morse already makes top 5 center money, and they obviously hope Josh Allen becomes good enough to pay. Thats four on offense, four on defense. Passing and stopping the pass are — smartly — prioritized. I do NOT see them spending big at running back or safety as the years go on. Or I should say, I don’t expect those positions to be among the 6-8 highest paid at any point. Clearly, this is all a bit over-simplified, because not everyone’s contracts start or end at the same time, new players get drafted and may change the long term plans of the team, etc...But I believe the structure of penetrating 3T, two 3-Down LBs, and CB1 on defense will hold. Potentially, an edge player could take over from one of the above on the pay scale. On offense, I believe they’ll always prioritize protecting the QB over all else. I don’t expect them to ever invest big money at running back. So...which 6-8 positions and/or players do you predict will be receiving big contracts and will represent Buffalo’s highest paid “core” going forward?
  23. I see some guys that will contribute and have long NFL careers, but no difference makers. Along those lines, I feel Harrison Bryant can be a positive contributor for a long time. Won’t blow the roof off the joint, but he can do some good things for you.
  24. I was reading Bob McGinn’s annual “what the scouts are saying” article, which is pure gold. If you haven’t read it, seek it out. When McGinn asked one high ranking personnel man about the TE class this year, his simple response was “it’s the *****” (rhymes with hits). That pretty much sums it up. ?
  25. Agreed. Best of the bunch. Some people don't like white-on-whites when it comes to jerseys, but I do. Such a clean look. I love Penn State's away jersey, for instance. And the Bills all-white aways and throwbacks are the best jerseys in the league, in my opinion.
