It’s a trade off , and we can’t control the matchup anyways. I’ll take Josh facing Miami D vs PIT. We played a simplistic O today and a pretty good defense.

Steelers D is much tougher , I’d take the Fish over them for sure. MIA lost like 5 in a row and were extremely average today.

Josh Allen needs to play better: he missed quite a few open throws with poor timing and placement. We expect those plus the wow plays from him. Can’t do it with one or the other. Stop turning the ball over. Execute the fundamentals. On defense - they’re going to have to manufacture pressure. They didn’t today and Jones looked like a respectable QB. This will not cut it in the playoffs. Play Benford over Elam. Elam loses position/ leverage and can’t make plays on passes that are defendable. Run D needs to be better as well if they want to advance.

The bye is still the bye - a “ free” win and pass to the next round. That’s bigger than the home field and the #1 seed is now too big an advantage with only one bye available. It actually is excessively beneficial and something should be done to change that. Almost as bad as one bye per conference…
