  1. So our large cities / urban School systems are now overrun with MAGA’s you say ? 🤣🤣Education failed years ago… check the numbers. If you can’t pass on your own merits , they make excuses and pass you anyway. It’s no longer about learning and being able to compete. It’s about indoctrination into a moronic liberal worldview.
  2. NYS Politicians have overtaken California as the National embarrassment. A guilty verdict in this case is legally preposterous, but I don’t put it past the joke that is NYS and their corrupt, racist DA plus kangaroo court to rule that way.
  3. Not the innocent victim mercilessly slaughtered by the trans- psycho🤬 What a disgusting message from WH and Jean - Pierre.
  4. Such statistics aren’t compelling enough not to do it as they don’t prove causation. There may be other factors at work. It stands to reason if a shooter can’t get in, they can’t commit the crime. We have armed officers in government buildings for a reason, and that reason clearly isn’t a higher incidence of deaths. Why is it standard practice if not for safety and security of the building’s occupants ? It appears reasonable that the most expedient thing we can do is make the soft target a hard target. This is about saving the lives of innocent workers and students inside the building.
  5. No, it’s definitely not easy. Not sure about churches , but schools absolutely should be secured like other government buildings with an armed officer. I wouldn’t suggest arming any civilian staff as that would be a potential negative that could lead to issues in my view .
  6. It’s worth looking into , but once again we have what appears to be a failure on the part of the family. Also at least one friend. They knew of the weapons and didn’t do anything about it. Even with such a law , the shooter may have been legally able to purchase at the time of purchase. She clearly was under a mental health professionals care and the family should have seen to it that these weapons were out of her hands , rather than shrug it off and say she told them they were gotten rid of. The Schools should be secured with armed personnel though, I believe . It would certainly reduce deaths without infringing on rights with legislation.
  7. The schools should be secured and an armed officer present. This is standard in government buildings among other places . Very likely would have prevented what happened in Nashville The shooter detailed two targets in their writings and chose the one that was less secure. With all the money wasted by the government , we certainly can afford to secure our schools from deranged criminals.
  8. That is a question that many wish to avoid . What is the racial breakdown of acts of gun violence in the US ? Scandinavian countries are often cited when examining gun violence in other nations. What is the racial breakdown of those countries populations ? The reality is that most gun violence in the USA is committed by those of certain racial background. These tend to be the result of a criminal element ( drug dealing , gangs etc) and a culture that celebrates violence . Unlike high profile mass shootings that often involve extreme mental illness. We need to look at the cultural differences in those countries , family structure , education etc. This is a cultural problem, as people aren’t inclined to shoot each other as a natural trait from birth. To say those other countries “ avoided “ a certain subculture is to imply that it’s somehow inevitable. I don’t believe it is. What is the racial breakdown of the shooters in said gun deaths ? Therein lies the answer some wish to avoid .
  9. Inherently, no. This is due to a cultural and societal decay that has occurred over the last several decades. Only a smaller portion of such violence is due to mental illness. These tend to be the high profile variety - such as school shootings. Most of it , though is just just the acceptance and celebration of violence by certain groups. Much of that can be linked to poor parenting , dumbing down of educational standard , learned hatred of Country etc etc. It’s more cultural than inherent from birth. More nurture than nature.
  10. So folks in those countries really really want to commit murder with guns , they’re just not “ allowed “ to by the super duper intelligent deep thinkers ? Mmmmmmkay!
  11. Then ya don’t really love it ….
  12. Agree on the 3 games, but it just doesn’t have anything to do with what happens in 2023.
  13. Discouraging, but is TG saying anything surprising here ? The asking price has to come down and / or a Bills player likely needs to be moved. Both would qualify as significant. Does he have any new info here , or just summarizing what we already know ?
  14. Bravo. We used to say live and let live…Now we must acknowledge, celebrate and genuflect. Is the level of entitlement and the fury if you don’t comply any wonder at this point ?
  15. Yep. The media will blame guns and the victims , not the weirdo who sucked at life.
  16. You mean morons will focus on absurd social excuses rather than dealing with our CRIME problem.
  17. Not surprisingly , you’d be wrong on all counts fella’. You don’t see how BLM riots could change someone over to Trump eh ? You’re even more clueless than your posts would indicate. Run along now, slappy…
  18. Yep. So there’s that … Maybe not the best day for “ pride night “ at the Sabres game , y’know what I mean?
  19. Looks like the shooter has been identified as Transgender … first I’ve seen it confirmed. Anyway, this shooter is actually a man. Falls in line with a lot of other shootings now.
  20. Creepy old horndog … you must be talking about Joke Biden!
  21. True. Meanwhile their minds are being murdered.
  22. Secure the buildings ( seems it wasn’t or there was a breach) Armed Officer at the door etc. I’ll agree there’s nothing palatable about this. One thing that shouldn’t give is individual rights. Makes for a complex issue.
  23. So killers just become great people then , if not for the 2nd Amendment ? Sounds like a LOT of excuses for awful people.
  24. The excuses are those provided for criminals and their actions , not the Constitution.
  25. Doesn’t equal causation. The variables are cultural. Also explains the reason for the breakdowns of who is involved / responsible for “ most” shootings. The presence of a gun does nothing on its own. The constitutional right shall not be infringed. People much smarter than you - and me - decided this.
