I concur. The defense is probably good enough. The Super Bowl showed us it doesn’t matter much if you’re the #1 defense anyway ( dubious late penalty flag and all ) You’re not shutting down the best offenses in todays game and need to match score for score. Then it likely comes down to having the ball last - which is where the SB was heading before “ the call” . Even with the Bills favorite status going into last season, most everyone thought it was theirs to win IF they stayed healthy. As you pointed out , that didn’t happen.

Defense was still very good in almost every category last year as well. They slipped a bit in yardage but most metrics stayed remarkably consistent. The pass rush disappeared after Millers injury, though. The offense was still good, but not nearly as reliable down the stretch. Josh’s injury, Dorsey’s rookie struggles and OL were all concerns too. Just seemed too reliant on Josh being Superman regularly to make things happen. Have to admit I get a bit jealous watching Mahomes toss the ball to wide open WRs most of the time ,with some of his patented plays thrown in here and there. That’s probably influenced my opinion on the Bills WR corps, though a lot of it is likely just superior play design by Andy Reid.

I like the addition of Kincaid, and the middle of the field was a huge problem for most of last season on offense. Still, I’d like to see another quality vet WR ; not certain how much we can rely on a rookie TE being the difference. I’d be more confident if Beane can bring a WR but I can see your point here.

I agree with the vast majority of this. Certainly a better explanation than 37 wins over 3 seasons being some kind of mirage. I do think Beane needs to add a legit weapon at WR2 to put the Bills over the top and into the SB. Still have time to do that.

Right? 37 wins over last 3 seasons, second only to KC’s 40. Not much to bridge there , but they do need better defensive strategy/ execution in playoff games. Offense was a no show all the way around in loss to Bengals , Josh’s worst playoff appearance to date.

Somehow I doubt this innocent victim will be getting a mural in his honor.

What is better, no guns, or more guns?

Yep…. I wonder why ? -
Yet another example of absurd current day liberalism… those who pay their bills and do the right thing must be punished. Those who cannot demonstrate their competence by passing a test go to the front of the line. Criminals must receive our empathy while law enforcement is disdained. Males pretending to be female must be allowed to compete and dominate in women's sports - actual women must simply shut up and accept it. Those who make more money should pay a higher rate for energy. Their insanity knows no bounds.

DeSantis For President in 2024?

Our economy runs on cheap, reliable fuel. So sure; just make it cheap, reliable , convenient and readily available. That clear enough? I mean, this should be easy . You’ll be a billionaire in no time. Realistically, I’d venture those numbers would be well under 50% if these well intentioned folks knew what their lifestyle would be like and what they’d have to do without. Don’t worry though, it will get there eventually , though at a pace that occurs organically. Give it about 75-100 years. And yes, you can disregard the loons- the world will still exist. -
Do you find it impossible to believe that Tucker may actually be empathetic with this individual - who probably isn’t a drug dealer, human trafficker, may have a job and actually be from a Country where asylum in the US may be justified - while still wanting a more secure border and more restrictive immigration policy ? His show is interesting and makes you think. You should watch sometime.

DeSantis For President in 2024?

I find that number highly questionable. Even if close to accurate, most answering in the affirmative would not be willing to make the lifestyle sacrifices it would take to achieve it. Sure, when phrased as a sunshine and rainbows idealistic question many would say yes. That’s the easy part. All that aside it’s probably not a realistic time frame to make it happen. -

According g to whom ? Whose policies during Covid were more restrictive or “ authoritarian ? “ I’d venture that it wasn’t DeSantis. Do you majority approve of expensive energy and high inflation? Of forcing girls to compete vs boys ? Majorities are not exactly immune from supporting bad ideas anyway. Just look at California as an example of that. Fortunately that fact is reflected in how we elect our President.
