Coverage was very good and he was hesitant to throw the ball. Imo Allen hurt led to pick six ... ie Peterman entered the game

I’ll predict no offensive penalties of consequence called on the Patriots while the game is in doubt . The Bills don’t know what a slant or yac is.

The illegal formation penalties are out of hand at this point. Multiple times in multiple games. Daboll can’t even get these guys to line up properly. Many of his passing concepts are questionable at best. Too many first down runs result in Allen and the O being behind the sticks. Allen cannot handle this right now, as it invites blitzes that he just isn’t dealing with. All in all, Daboll was an uninspired hire and it’s showing greatly. He has no history developing young ( and raw) QBs and the results have been predictable.

Well no, don’t. If Allen can’t play due to injury thats one thing, but you can’t sit him down at this point. When that happens ( if it does), he’s finished as a Bill. He must fight through it, though it’s clear Daboll and the rest of the team aren’t up to bringing a young QB along.

Passing on first down once in awhile would help, but playcalling in general won’t help this team much. Offensive play design might, but they’re stuck with Daboll for now. As for Allen watching the rush and not downfield, he was doing this well before he was injured.

None more directly than Peterman though. This was a winnable game even with the errors, but putting in Peterman was too much for the Bills to overcome.

The plan was probably to get through another week or two, activate Anderson and quietly put Peterman on practice squad. Then release him when no one is paying attention. Having to play Peterman in an NFL game was inexcusable but you kind of knew it would happen.
