  1. No bigs. Millennials don’t watch the NFL anyway...
  2. Looks like a lot of enemy gear out there in the stands today...again
  3. Nah, I’m rooting for the likely over the improbable.
  4. For me it’s just a gut feeling. Watson is great and he’ll end up being the difference.
  5. Don’t hold your breath...Anyway, you’ll have to wait awhile until the Bills move on from their bad QB and bring in the next lottery ticket. Must be tough for you in the meantime. What to do ?
  6. A day like that affected both teams, as it always will.
  7. Smith has gotten his share of penalties, but last weeks holding penalty was a garbage call.
  8. The Eagles handled it beautifully by not passing very often. 24 passes vs 33 rushes. 41 if you count runs by Wentz. The Bills threw 34 passes to just 12 rushes by backs 20 total rushes counting 8 by Allen. The Bills game plan was dumb and didn’t factor in the considerable wind. Both QBs have strong arms, but that was a day for running the football.
  9. Yes, enough to have an impact for sure. Daboll going w speed again at WR. Hope this isn’t a repeat of last weeks unfortunate game plan. Run the ball and play action please.
  10. No. Not going to snow during today’s game
  11. No snow to speak of downtown fwiw. Not sure about OP, but drove through there last night and it was about 8 degrees F colder there than in the city.
  12. I hate the term “ narrative” being used as much as it is on the board. Makes football seem like politics. Anyway, all fumbles are bad. Doesn’t matter which player is carrying the ball; they must maintain possession. As pointed out by others here, recovering a fumble is more chance than art form. Things tend to even out over time, so continuing to fumble will probably equate to losing more of them than they have so far. Allen probably carries the ball more on designed runs than most QBs, so he’s likely to have more fumbles over the course of a season. Recently , one opponent noted that Allen carries the ball in his right hand when headed to the sideline and successful stripped it from him. The recent fumble on the designed sweep vs Eagles was huge, and a terrible decision by Daboll imo. There are certain situations and positions on the field where you’d prefer an RB toting the ball than any QB. Bottom line, Allen needs to not fumble if he’s going to be entrusted running it so often.
  13. Bills fans should root for HOU here. Jax creeping back into WC picture.
  14. Good move. Taylor is a pretty talented DL. Peko may go back to the PS. Is Taylor eligible to play this week ? Not exactly sure how that works.
  15. The team or the fans ?
  16. Probably, but not nearly enough of an increase to overall hotel capacity for hosting a Super Bowl.
  17. He does, but with his hero ball INT issues and the like, I’m okay with him not throwing late over the middle. Especially when rolling out. I’m sure the Bills have been coaching some discretion into his game.
  18. Mmmkay. Not worried unless they find another Brady. That was one in a million so.....Anyway, this is a Pats* thread and basically needs to die.
  19. Murphy has been underwhelming as a Bill to this point. Doesn’t seem likely to change much, either.
  20. Most likely, and some of those would probably be right. The Bills are probably a fair to good football team right now in the current AFC. They’re far from great, and still being built by Beane. The stats say they are probably a bit worse than the record indicates due to their schedule. While they can only beat the teams they actually play, a home loss to WAS ( with a first start rookie QB) would mean they are fools gold this year.
  21. This is becoming a major concern. “ futurist” contention about run the ball and make Allen beat you with his arm is what every team has tried since the opener vs Jets. Their mantra was “ make Allen be a QB” blah blah blah. The Bills would do well to hone their running game and actually commit to it, which Daboll hasn’t done. The Eagles game was his low point this year to date. He needs to find some purpose and rhythm to his game plan, and soon.
  22. No receiver was missed on this play. I’m sure there were many plays vs Eagles where Allen didn’t perform well or made a bad decision etc. This was not one of them .
