  1. It’s not collusion on the part of the officials ( re: overturning PI calls). They are under directive not to change these calls from the league, as games would be a veritable schi&$show. That rule will be enforced only in the playoffs.John Parry ( retired official now on TV broadcast ) alluded to this in an article I read in the NY post last week. He said he sees the rule becoming an issue “ when it is enforced in the playoffs and fans say that’s not what we’ve seen all year “. I found that very telling, as I’ve suspected the rule was put in to appease the coach (es) and assure the NFL isn’t embarrassed again in a playoff game. If they started overturning these in the regular season, more non calls would be challenged and the game would eventually become unwatchable. The first overturn of a call/ non call will happen in a playoff game.
  2. They do, but the changes they made were possible because of rookie Haskins at QB. It probably won’t work vs a team with a passing game. Coaches are going to earn their paycheck this week.
  3. A lot better skill position players in that game than what the Bills have. The Bills need better players to play that style and win. Ultimately it’s about winning the games on your schedule. The 2018 Bears had a second year QB, who’s now in year 3 and doesn’t look too good. The 3rd year is critical, and Im anticipating the Bills add offensive talent this offseason. If Allen has issues in year 3, they may decide to begin preparing for a change.
  4. Looks like he stumbled in from a tent city in San Francisco
  5. The thing is, other teams lose games they should win too. Works both ways. That’s why they play ‘em.
  6. He tweeted the comments, but he sure is a twit.
  7. For sure. But man, if they lose......doooooooooooomed
  8. It’s sustainable as long as Jackson is the best athlete on the field, and as long as he can play that style without a major injury. The Ravens aren’t an RG3 situation, they’re running an offense designed around Jackson. If he has to be a more traditional QB in a more conventional offense it might not be so efficient. We don’t know, because we haven’t seen it. I find it very entertaining to watch, especially when it defeats the Pats*.As an aside, it’s laughable how little talk of this game has been on GMFB. That show is usually Pats every ten minutes or so in some sort of discussion. Now when I want to hear talk about them ( they lost ) it’s crickets. Bunch of Pat loving dill holes on that show.
  9. The post was from OCT 12. Week to week league. Allen’s been a lot better with the hero ball INTs, but at the time it was a problem.
  10. It wouldn’t be considered subjective; it’s a “ hot take”. They’re not one of the two or 3 all time best, and that would be generally accepted by most outside observers except a few Pat loving tv talking heads. It’s hype
  11. Looks like 9 to me. If you’re correct , that means no playoffs.
  12. Only a Pats* fanboy would make such a comparison. This isn’t even the best defense BB has had with the Pats*, much less one of the all time great Defenses in NFL lore. The eye test tells anyone that.
  13. Most winning coaches that are hitched to a great QB hang it up in short order when that QB is gone. Maybe BB won’t , but I wouldn’t be surprised if he did. The legacy can be tainted.
  14. Those were all - time great legendary defenses ,with legendary players all over the field. This Pats D just isn’t in that category. Agreed. And some of those new starters probably aren’t good enough. Still climbing the hill....
  15. Yep. He’ll last as long as he’s a superior athlete to those around him. That will go long before his arm will. Of course, by then his game may have evolved into a more conventional style.
  16. Playcalling is part of it. A lot of it is execution of those plays. A LOT
  17. He’s got a great OL, good running game and smart coaches. Jackson is an amazing athlete, better than Josh. He’s better than most players on the field. He didn’t have to pass all over the field. His runs are ridiculous. I don’t hate the Bills for not taking him, as I don’t believe they’d think outside the box enough for it to work. He’s a very unconventional QB and it’s an unconventional offense. I tip my hat to the Ravens. I’ve always liked that organization and rooted for them in the playoffs throughout the drought. I like the way they always have a tough physical team that plays the right way.
  18. They have flaws, but it takes a superior OL, and a superior coaching staff to take advantage. The Bills don’t have that at the moment.
  19. It’s the new mentality out there. If you’re not one of the 3 or 4 best yet , you might as well be the worst. Edit : I do not subscribe to this belief, but it’s out there.
  20. It’s a creative offense. Jackson is the best athlete on the field usually , and the OL is beastly. Damn good team
  21. Can’t argue with this. It was going to be a laugher. Only Pats TDs came on 20 yard fields after fumbles.
  22. BBFS....predict embarrassment at every turn. That way you can say “ I told you so “ when it happens and then it’s all better!
  23. Jackson is the human joystick that was classic
  24. Damn, nobody gets the sarcasm in my post with that OP? Anyway, IF the Bills were to have done such a thing they’d obviously have to take the Harbaugh approach.
