I saw it reported that it was the same ankle as previously. Haven’t seen otherwise aside from that post.

May not be a tragedy. Could be the best thing ever on a personal level. We don’t know how things are behind the scenes. Seems like he retired due to outside pressures and decided that it wasn’t time for him yet. That says a lot.

Or at the very least, you can always get another girlfriend/ wife.

If White misses the KC game, I’d prefer he gets a few games in before the playoffs.

I think they’re doing the opposite of coddling him. Each opportunity they’ve given him ( save for a few carries at the end of blowouts) he’s err, dropped the ball. He looks uptight, not checked in mentally and hasn’t earned more touches. Look at Shakir, also a rookie. They gave him a few shots and he’s made the most of them. He’ll be getting more looks. It doesn’t matter if your initial opportunity comes due to injury or lack of production by other players. You’ve got to earn a chance to get the ball.

Their organizational m.o has been to fill in the OL with veteran FAs that can pass block. They’ve invested heavily in the DL. The offense has been very successful. We’ll see if it ultimately gets them where they want to be… hoisting the Lombardi in February.

I’m all for playing him.. when he’s ready. The KC matchup is a big one , but it’s not a playoff game. As we know, the Bills won @ KC last October but it didn’t determine the #1 seed. There’s just too much season remaining. If the game was in say, mid December it very well could. The KC game will be about the Bills offense and their DL/ pass rush. At least that’s what the Bills coaches/ GM think , based on their off season.

Offseason? They’re 4 games into a season trying to make a run for the roses. How about they find some things they can improve at and execute well this season ! Sorry but off-season talk in week 5 is for the dregs of the league. Bills fans lived there for far too long.

This isn’t exactly the time for getting new talent on the field. They’re 4 games in , so saying this or that “ didn’t happen” is a bit hyper critical with so much of the story of this 2022 season left unwritten. Very team to an extent takes a risk as you can only have so many players on the roster. In short, Bills have stayed remarkably healthy the past few seasons. So far this year, they’ve had a rash of injuries at key spots. They’ve had to adapt their scheme while trying to win games.

Sounds like an awfully stressful situation for you. I doubt McDermott will be fired anytime soon, but this is no way to live. I’d suggest finding a less stressful team to follow with a coach you approve of. That way win or lose, at least you can sleep at night.

Yep. It was also like the 3rd or 4th time in the game though none had been flagged. It also was totally unnecessary by the defensive player and I think that’s why they finally threw the hanky. The ball was long gone and he saw it. On the heels of Tua I’m not surprised. Bills have been burned on lots of those so I’ll take it. It was also first down, not a 3rd and 25 or something.

Hey, ALL Bills fans wished they had gotten the #1 seed last year. They didn’t. I’d prefer that they’d gotten two or three more blowout wins than nail- biters though. Guess it’s a matter of taste ; do you like chocolate or vanilla? I’d love to see them get the #1 seed this year. If wishes were fishes…

A few years back Boger’s crew was among the most flag happy in the NFL. They may not throw as many now, but I’d expect a critical call or 2 vs defense in this game.

Would you rather have the Bills go 14- 3 with an 0-3 record in one score games, or go 11-6 but with a 3-3 mark in games decided by one score? I doubt the Bills are losing their minds over this.
