    oh i agree. it's an emotional purchase, and for someone who can afford it, it's not an over buy at all. you see it with housing too. people fall in love with a home and are willing to far overbid for it. i meant over buy in the sense that he paid more than the estimated value.

    as much as i'm impressed by improvements this year, i just don't think the bills are ready to beat the best team in football yet. there's always a shot, but what a victory it would be to even split games with the pats.

    This come from one special poster. Drives me nuts too. I’m also a fan of when someone predicts a crippling loss and follows it up with, “hope I’m wrong!” yeah...no *****.

    the guys i knew from college that grew up in mass were true fans. my friends sat through some terrible years, and it was in college that the bledsoe era began. i was a sophomore when they went to the super bowl and the loss to green bay was glorious.

    that's what i thought as well. just bad timing.

    i remember that crowd from the 80s and early 90s. there was a ton of dolphins gear in the area. they hated the bills too. never understood that from the locals.

    they think only wnyers do, and that light beer will probably be extinct soon as well. (he actually said that)

    there are a ton of pats fans in wny. typically in the late 20s to early 30s. just picked the team that was easy to cheer for when they were young. i get how that works, but whenever i hear someone from wny in the demographic tell me they're die hard pats fans, it makes me cringe.
