he definitely motored in there quickly. he just got to ahead of himself, but wow did he get there fast.

it's likely just a bit of both. catchable ball, but not a great throw. the majority of the time it doesn't turn into a pick 6, but that's just how the first half went.

i do, but i didn't have any yesterday. maybe light beer makes the bills lose.

oh really. it's not like they didn't have enough turnovers to over come missing an a kick or two. it's wasn't the kicker that lost the game for the jets. the entire team did. he didn't help, but it was a terrible showing by the jets offensively, and an outstanding performance by the bills defense. it's probably just easier to ignore that...isn't it?

i don't know if this had anything to do with it, but might as well mention it. yesterday was my 7th wedding anniversary. seven years ago, my wife and i spent our first married night in the hyatt in downtown rochester. the next morning was sunday, and it was opening day in 2012. the bills were playing the jets...in ny. we were all decked out in our bills gear, had breakfast with family, and went home to watch the game. the chan gailey led bills were destroyed that day. it looked like they didn't even show up. to celebrate this year, we decided to stay at the same hotel, have a nice dinner and night away from the kids, and watch the game on sunday. when we left the hotel sunday morning, we saw people in their bills gear and excited. even the staff was wearing bills jerseys. had a conversation with a guy in the elevator about how excited we were, but i just didn't like the set up. we were leaving the same hotel, 7 years later to play the jets in their stadium. i mentioned this to my wife who doesn't really care, and her comment was, "it's the lucky number 7...they'll win this time". sure enough. so maybe my wife made that happen.

it's hard to ignore the turnovers, but he really was moving the ball effectively.

it was just bad mojo/luck in the first half. nothing seemed to be in the bills favor at all, but not once did they roll over and give up. they kept it a game, and things finally starting swinging in their direction. it was such a game of momentum. allen certainly made some mistakes. i just don't think they should lean on him so heavily this early. his mistakes are correctable, but help the guy out a bit.
