  1. this ***** guy!
  2. the acl issue is such a pain for larger dogs. my dog never has really had any medical issues except for the acl. he tore on back leg 4-5 years ago. at that time they said they seem me back in a couple of years for the other leg. sure enough, two years later while my dog was running towards me when i got home, i watched him tear the other. the surgeries went well and healed perfectly, but i think i was 9-10k deep after that. my wife was pissy about it, and i let he know that i'd pay for the surgery for that dog before i paid for hers.
  3. i'm there with ya. i would have no idea how to manage a family member with possible delusions.
  4. doesn't involuntary commitment only come when someone is a potential harm to themselves/others? i'm not sure if here's there yet, but this is the first time i was made aware of any of this.
  5. there's a lot of dog chatter from you today. did you get new dogs?
  6. so...is this thread just a flex for people who want us to know they won't be watching the super bowl, (even though we know they will).
  7. i don't know. i've been feeding my dog blue buffalo food in the green bag, and he's going to be 13 next week. i try to keep it simple.
  8. I honestly had no idea this was the case.
  9. yes...of course. it's the super bowl. i'm not excited about it in the least with these two teams, but i always appreciate the production value, fanfare, etc. it's one more thing to look forward to in another gray winter. we'll end up making drinks and appetizers. the kids get riled up. it's not about the teams for me this year.
  10. sorry scott. i really am.
  11. we don't have that problem in rochester with the majestic lake ontario.
  12. Sorry to hear this whorlnut. I’m sure a lot of people are going to be looking out for your and your family. Stay sting for your kids. My heart goes out to you guys.
  13. This all seems so familiar.
  14. because he hates you.
  15. i'll agree with the notion of being sad over the loss. usually i'm more annoyed/angry fan after a loss, (not in an intense way) but this loss was far more sad and tiring than any. then seeing the letter written by hyde's wife, i'm realizing what they built over the last few year is ending. not that this team will be bad, but there's a sadness that this group couldn't pull it off. there's always next year.
  16. it's not even in the realm of me being concerned about this. even if they like football, they can be a fan of whatever team they prefer. now both of my kids are "bills fans" mostly because they see my wife and i in the gear, getting excited about the games, etc. they've been raised to be bills fans, but if they came to me and said they liked another team more, whatever. hell, my 5 year old son knows to piss me off by cheering for other team while i watch the bills. it actually gets to me after about 15 mins. kids have their own personalities. as long as they turn into decent human beings, have at it.
  17. i'm in the group that feels fatigue. i've seen this movie far too many times before.
  18. A few days ago, I drunk ordered one of those massive, oversized bills hats. It arrived yesterday. Today before the game, I will wear the hat and present it to my family as a show of dominance. There will be no way the bills will lose this game. You’re welcome.
  19. the site is almost unusable at this point. loved it back in the day. eric grew up not that far away from me, and bought a bunch of commercial property in our suburb. i have to imagine he did pretty good selling the site.
  20. lol! i'm glad everyone is enjoying the blast for the past.
