Indy seems like the better fit. But One thing that makes me think Chicago may be willing to give up more in a trade - their GM is desperate. Chris Ballard isn’t. Ryan Pace knows his job is hanging by a thread. Ballard isn’t facing the same type of pressure.

I feel like the Saints find some unique way to manipulate the salary cap every single offseason.

They are already the 4th team to have to put their season on pause due to covid (all have been American teams btw, no Canadian teams have had major covid outbreaks yet) and we are only 3 weeks into the season. I think some of this is on the NHL covid protocols and players not following the rules. But I also think some of it is just the nature of hockey in general. IMO It’s just a higher risk sport vs. the NFL. Locker rooms are much smaller. They play indoors, on a rink enclosed with glass, with ventilation designed to keep+recirculate all that cold air inside the glass. At least the NHL is taking steps to try and correct some of the issues. https://www.nhl.com/standings/2020/division man, the Sabres division looks brutal. top 3 teams win-loss records: 7-2-1 6-1-3 6-1-2 then the penguins at 5-4-1 Sabres are 4-4-2 I feel like their only real shot at the post season is either that #4 spot, or staying right on the playoff bubble and hoping the NHL expands the number of teams in the post season to 24 again (because of complications with cancelled games, etc). btw, holy **** how bad is Ottawa this season?? They are 1-8-1 and already have a -24 goal differential! Super glad Botterill wasn’t around to trade for Matt Murray when Ottawa did... 😂

He’s not an NHL caliber goaltender, at least not for the Sabres. We desperately need a better backup goalie (Johansson isn’t NHL caliber either. He might not even be AHL caliber) or Krueger just needs to start Ullmark for every single game (not very realistic). You can see how deflated the team gets when Hutton lets in a softie. It has to be demoralizing.

Bills fans seriously need to stop paying attention to that guy. He says ridiculous stuff on purpose because he knows hundreds of bills fans will get all worked up over it and amplify his comments. He’s a troll that craves attention. Don’t give it to him. (this comment is not directed at you, just talking in general).
