Very impressive! This coaching staff + front office, and just the team in general, have a different feel than years past. although the bar isn’t very high, in that regard...lol. It is so, so nice to have a competent front office and coaching staff that I actually have faith in. It’s been so long that I almost forgot what it feels like... I really do feel like they are building toward something special. Also, shout out to Kyle Williams. He really is thr heart and soul of this team. I am almost always inspired listening to him talk. I am so happy he came back for another season. He is an invaluable resource to not only the rookies, but the vets too. I absolutely love this bills embedded series. I just wish the episodes were longer than 15 minutes. I’ve been looking forward to it all week and it’s already over with. I really hope they do something like this for the Sabres, too.

Sal Carpaccio: Corey Coleman Is In Trouble
BillsFan4 replied to BuffaloRush's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I can’t really say I’ve seen enough of him to know either way. Hopefully we will get a better idea of where he’s at this Sunday. If he’s running with the 1’s or 2’s this Sunday, I’d say his chances are looking ok to make the roster. If he’s with the 3’s, and then plays late into preseason game 4, then I’d guess his chances aren’t as good. Personally, if he’s buying in, has a good attitude and working hard, I’d like to keep him around. He has the talent to be a good NFL WR. -

Hard Knocks 2018: The Cleveland Browns
BillsFan4 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This episode made me hate Jarvis Landry even more than I already did. He seems very thin skinned. Hearing him unapologetically talk about that hit on the sideline confirmed what we all already knew - his “sorries” after those dirty hits of his are nothing but lip service. It’s his MO. He said the same BS after the Aaron Williams hit, and after he laid out Patrick Chung with that viscous head shot. I didn’t think thr Johnson hit was nearly as dirty as some of his hits in the past. But it still left a bad taste in my mouth. That episode also, IMO, made it Very clear that this coaching staff is not even close to being on the same page. Haley and Hue seem at odds. Haley and Greggo seem at odds. They almost give the impression they are working against each other at time. I also also had to LOL at the whole “the Browns are about to make a meteoric rise” theme of this hard Knocks episode... I just don’t see it. But I hope I am wrong for Browns fans sake. -
I am currently very much enjoying my subscription to the Athletic and the Buffalo news. I decided to try both for a year to see if either was worth the price. So far, I would have to say that they both are. Both have their merits/benefits. If you are looking for strictly Buffalo sports coverage, then the Buffalo News is the better choice. If you want a wide variety of sports content, then the Athletic is the choice. Personally, I like having both. For those basing their opinion of the Buffalo News on the past (like I was), I have to say I have noticed some great changes. I would recommend giving them a chance with an open mind. I know I have been pleasantly surprised.

Wow. That is legitimately scary. I hope something is done to help him (and protect others) but I am not sure what can be done if he doesn’t want help. I don’t even think they can prevent him from going to buy more guns, even if they are somehow able to keep the guns he currently owns (though, for all we know he could have more at home, anyway). Maybe/hopefully they will be able to give him some type of court mandated treatment, with these most recent charges? This all kind of seems like a really sad story just waiting to happen, although I pray I am completely wrong.

Former Seahawks Punter Jon Ryan to visit Bills on Tuesday
BillsFan4 replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That was my thought as well. This doesn’t seem like just some camp leg type signing. -
That is good to hear. I don’t know how long they can keep them, though? Do they have to give him back as soon as he is released? although I am not sure how much it really matters if he is set on doing something with them. I am sure he would have zero issue just going to buy more in Arizona if he truly wants to. Hopefully he is not seriously thinking of using a gun anyway, and there’s nothing to worry about in that regard.

I am just the opposite. I’d much rather people embed the links and be able to view the info all right here, rather than have to waste my time clicking on each individual link and then waiting for each one to load separately. I’d rather it just take a few extra seconds to load the page and be able to see it all right here.

What is Cris Carter Talking about
BillsFan4 replied to Protocal69's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-network-total-access/0ap3000000927196/Soul-Science-How-fast-can-Josh-Allen-throw hmm... interesting. That’s the first time I’ve heard that about Allen. Soul & science measured his release at 38 hundredths of a second, which they said is on par with Tom Brady and IIRC also one of the faster release times measured. Later in the video they also measure his throwing motion on the run. They said 2/3rds if his throwing motion (on the run) took only 25 hundredths of a second. -
Thanks for posting this! I had been wanting to see the hit again. Just FYI you can embed it by clicking on the “post as plain text” icon that pops up at the bottom of the screen after you paste the link. And here is the current rules on crackback blocks for those curious - https://operations.nfl.com/the-rules/2017-rules-changes-and-points-of-emphasis/ Prohibit crackback blocks by an offensive player in a backfield position and in motion, even if he is not more than two yards outside the tackle when the ball is snapped. A player in motion can legally block a defender if he blocks upfield and not back toward the position where the ball was snapped.

Double Standard Kelvin Benjamin/Jalen Ramsey?
BillsFan4 replied to benderbender's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
https://www.gq.com/story/jalen-ramsey-trash-talk-nfl-interview I think you are confusing Deshaun Watson with Lamar Jackson. Here is the quote in question - Unless I am just missing it, this is the only thing I can find that he said about Deshaun Watson - But it I don’t see anything in that’s rticle where he said or implied that Deshaun Watson should have gone 1st overall. He didn’t say that about Jackson either. Only that he should have been the 2nd QB off the board IF all these teams wanted Baker Mayfield at 1. I totally disagree with what he is saying about Lamar Jackson. He is assuming that every team trying to trade up for a QB was after Baker Mayfield and I don’t think that is true at all. But I don’t see it as race baiting. He is just wrongly assuming that every team trying to trade up was after Baker. -
Staind had some decent songs especially when they first came out, but their stuff was kind of hit or miss for me. - I also liked some of the stuff Stabbing Westward did (if you like that Nine inch Nails, Tool type of sound). They have some great lyrics - I would also list Incubus but I don’t know if they really qualify as underrated.

If that were the case, then I’d rather not play him. Developing Josh Allen into our franchise QBs for the next 10+ years is much more important to me than few extra wins this season. Just to be clear though, I am not saying that playing josh will stunt his development. I have no clue if it would or not. I will defer to the coaching staff’s superior knowledge on this subject, and support whoever they start.

Cardale starting tonight for Chargers
BillsFan4 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I just turned the Chargers vs Seahawks game on so I’ve onyl seen it from the start of the 4th quarter. But it appears that Geno Smith has jumped Cardale Jones on the depth chart and in the battle for the 2nd string QB job? Cardale just came in for the 4th quarter. I haven’t been following this backup QB battle at all, but the announcers are saying that this could be a make or break game for Cardale, and that Ken Whisenhunt needs to see him clean up a lot of things + show he can run this offense. It sounds like his roster spot could be in jeopardy, unless they decide to keep 3 QBs.
