  1. Josh is the king of Buffalo It's his city
  2. This year? After tearing an Achilles? And ACL prior? He would definitely be behind benford and Douglas on the outside In the right scheme he could be a rotational guy for maybe 1-2 more years but he can't run across the field in man anymore and lost his burst which made him an all pro because he had the best closing speed in football That's all gone
  3. The bills outside of Tre white have been getting by with cheap cornerbacks too Because our front seven consistently puts quarterbacks in bad spots for years Resigning Greg R is way more important than any corner
  4. You cannot re sign every single player... The NFL with the salary cap leaves cap casualties The Chiefs have a lot of decisions to make in the next two three years with regard to their roster... Do they resign guys like Bolton and karlaftis and just gave Creed Humphrey the most money in the NFL for a center ... Re signing those cornerbacks would make it hard for those other 3 Or do they re sign their cornerbacks You can't pay everybody
  5. Because NFL teams also think 1-2 years ahead The bills probably knew Mitch Morse was on his way out and that Mcgovern was their future center Leaving a guard spot open in a year , on a good team with a rebuilt line... Sounds like a good deal to a lineman who wants stability not just a check... Playing lineman for Josh Allen could reap rewards for his future contracts over blocking for Bryce young
  6. Because he wanted to reunite with kromer who was his coach in LA
  7. He played eight plays at the end of the game when the bills were doing nothing but running it up the gut It's hard to get a gauge of anything when you have so little snaps and they are running the most rudimentary stuff
  8. First of all nobody used the word goat 25 years ago when Marino's generation retired Second there were definitely really good quarterbacks in the era including Kelly and Warren Moon and John elway Joe Montana a little bit before them Joe Cool was again the greatest winner of all time before Brady and one of the greatest quarterbacks But yes Dan Marino was widely considered to be the greatest pure passer in the history of football before Brady... Aka the best pure quarterback He retired with the most yards.. most passing touchdowns.. retired with the most game-winning drives... The most 300 yard games passing... The most 400 yard games passing... First quarterback to have a 5,000 yard season.. first quarterback to 50,000 passing yards.. first quarterback to 60,000 passing yards Even Joe Montana said he was the best quarterback ever
  9. Bill belichick didn't win super bowls in Cleveland either .. he had a guy named Lawrence Taylor the greatest defensive player ever with the Giants He needed a guy that could help him get things done with the Giants and New England Nobody does it alone... Patrick mahomes Tom Brady Andy Reid Bill belichick Brett favre.. it takes a village It takes all 53 people and coaching staff to win Look at Seans winning percentage.. he's a lot closer to the top than the bottom of NFL coaches And his turnaround of the bills franchise which was considered a joke should be studied McDermott in football circles is literally considered upper echelon and he is one of the most respected coaches in the game He was turning this franchise around before Josh Allen was here
  10. That doesn't mean you need an offensive coach just because it's Josh Bill belichick and Tom Brady are the greatest Duo ever and one is a defensive guru The New England dynasty won the same way Bill belichick beat the bills in the super bowl with the Giants... Great defensive game plans basically week in and week out for 20 years .. neutralizing opposing team's best weapons and giving Tom Brady just enough to win Bill belichick had their defense on lock year in and year out which makes playing quarterback easier when you only need to score a couple times a game to win No quarterback is winning consistently if you have to put up 35 a game
  11. Yet if we didn't have a defensive guy .. we wouldn't be masking all of our defensive injuries for years and putting out and developing all these all pro guys No offensive minded coach is taking Jordan poyer a Cleveland browns cast off and turning him into an All-Pro besides a defensive back guru
  12. Luck is the one thing that nobody ever talks about in the NFL when it comes down to winning... In a 17-week season with a post season where everybody is beat up and hurt Being healthy at the right time is nothing more than luck
  13. Yes Bill belichick the greatest winning coach of all time with the most super bowls is known as an offensive guru lol Oh that's right he is a defensive guru Teams are dumb if they just keep picking up Bill's offensive coordinators thinking they're there next success when it's a team culture that Josh Allen drives the engine They're not getting Josh Allen when they hire our coordinator
  14. Yes because everybody knows super bowls is a quarterback stat not a team stat Dan Marino was widely considered the greatest quarterback of all time before Brady and he never won a super bowl
  15. Awesome bro! I dig the jujitsu shirt and nice bills cap! Hope you and your kid had fun go bills
  16. Calling somebody like Levi Wallace a less than average athlete is a serious disrespect to him The dude went from a walk on to a starting cornerback at Alabama under Nick Saban... The dude is a better athlete than 99% of the world He just didn't have the measurables that the NFL looked for in a draftable outside corner... That didn't mean he's not a better athlete than 99% of the people walking And a better cornerback than 99% of the world... Less than average athlete can't even play division one football at a skill position like corner There are thousands of college cornerbacks who don't even sniff the pros... Now if you want to make the disclaimer less than average NFL athlete that is more acceptable But hes certainly not a less than average athlete for the general population
  17. Yes he was and our depth is very good at the inside oline Creed Humphrey is considered a very large center on the Chiefs.. and McGovern has a solid 10-15 lb on him
  18. I called it here as soon as it was announced I literally said he was going to be a pro bowl center he is just too big and strong.. he's now the biggest center in the league probably definitely top three
  19. You mean the Chiefs who's combined opponents are also two wins and seven losses? The team that has needed to get bailed out? Josh has played teams with a combined record of 2 and 7 and he's high-fiving teammates and sitting on the bench in the fourth quarter.. not trying for a last second win
  20. Establishing the run is key for any offensive lines success... We're talking about thousands of pounds smashing into each other in the trenches Offensive lineman always want to be on the attack.. moving forward.. AKA run blocking Pass blocking technically has you on the defense.. you're going backwards while people are attacking you Just going out and calling 45 pass plays a game while having your big guys on their heels all game will not reap rewards... What does reap rewards is get the big guys doing what they want to do .. going forward and pushing in the run game... Letting them be the aggressors This lets them wear down the defensive line so when you start calling pass plays the rush is already semi neutralized from being pushed around A defensive line who just gets to pin their ears back and attack offensive lineman on their heels all game is a recipe for disaster
  21. I wouldn't say that McGovern shot at center in Dallas was terrible .. he just didn't get enough reps for the NFL He literally was drafted to play center and then they had him play guard for years to where he really didn't get an off season as a center .. so anytime he got to play it was without a full camp as a center I knew with a whole off season training as a center he would be a machine.. I said multiple times here he will probably get a big contract that the bills cannot match.. he is one of the biggest centers in the NFL
  22. I don't think it's weird at all It's the NFL every player is extremely talented.. and coaches are extremely smart and good game planners When you're just focusing on one or two guys it's easier for a coach to take them away and destroy your game plan.. if you're willing to throw it at eight different guys every single week it makes a lot harder to defend and make your offense run more efficiently
  23. Yes thielen made the Vikings the same way andresen made the bills A rookie camp tryout which is the hardest path to the NFL
  24. It's usually described as undrafted free agent or a camp invite Walk on is a college term I've never heard the term walk on used in the NFL.. cam Lewis signed with the bills as an undrafted free agent , it was not described as walking on
  25. Cam Lewis and Ingram were undrafted free agents with the bills They were not Walk-Ons at the University at Buffalo.. they were scholarship players
