Xavier Worthy: So far, not much more than a gadget guy
Buffalo716 replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
He is a dynamic athlete with natural hands .. he has experience with rpos and bubble screens with great yards after catch He has a good vertical leap and can get deep too and plays with great pace If he matched his sophomore year stats he would go top 10 but he still is one of the best playmakers in the draft He also has a very good build -

Andy Reid had perine running open on us lol That's the thing though.. they use the first round pick on him.. and he's been actively a part of their scheme all year... With a guy who draws up the best plays in the world Josh Allen threw the least amount of times in his full-time career since his second season.. mahomes had a hundred more passing attempts Equal that out and give him 13 more targets.. well that's 130 more yards We just don't throw the ball a lot If keon has 80 targets next year and catches 52 for 18.5 yards are reception and goes for 960 and 8-10 tds And that actually is realistic , that would be great for our offense -

Yes he didn't finish good.. not the first rookie won't be the last.. he also broke his wrist I'm not a big excuse guy for a professionals .. but for a guy who relies on being physical a broken wrist is tough for a receiver 9.6 yards per Target is impressive for a rookie or a 10- year vet... NOT Yards per catch, yards per Target.. so regardless of the catch rate he was getting 9.6 yards average a Target Him and Josh clean up their connection and you get higher catch percentage and the chance at a 10 yd target guy -
Is Nick Siriani, the second best coach in the NFL currently.
Buffalo716 replied to Chaos's topic in The Stadium Wall
It's funny because before yesterday tons of people here would swear Andy Reid is the best coach In NFL history Now he's already could been passed by siriani soon If it's that quick to get passed... Maybe Andy Reid was never close to being the best coach in NFL history He's a Hall of Fame coach for sure.. I said yesterday before the game he's not Bill belichick.. and I stand by that -
That's fair

James Cook just broke OJ Simpson's rushing touchdown record lol we have a really good offensive line Probably top five tackles at each spot.. Spencer Brown might become the best right tackle in the world in the next season or 2.. Literally drafted Matt Milano in the sixth round and turned them into an All-Pro.. Christian Benford in the sixth round became a good football player... Is Josh Allen clearly the best football player on our team? Yes Can you win 13 games consistently like we've been doing with one player? No lol Can you beat the Ravens in the playoffs with one player? No lol We've drafted guys like Dane Jackson in the 7th round and Levi Wallace undrafted and got these guys second contracts with other NFL teams.. we took castaway from the worst browns team in the NFL and Jordan poyer turned into an all pro ... This board was panicking when we lost Edmunds and Terrell Bernard stepped in and didn't miss a beat Our coaches are really good at developing talent.. maybe beane has been taking the wrong defensive lineman to develop
-
This is now on Beane, no question he needs to step up.

I'm pretty sure McDermott literally said kaire Elam is going to make plays for us in the second half He said that without batting an eye -

Did worthy finish the season better yes.. does that mean he'll be a better pro for 10 years? That's not how it works You act like he just went for 1,300 yards lol he literally got plays drawn up specifically for him the whole season.. plays to get him in space, and dragging across the field open ... He's not winning with savvy route running.. Andy Reid literally has to go super deep into his bag to get him involved... Misdirection reverses and everything all season... He's literally running routes within 10 yards getting schemed open 80% Keon Coleman beats NFL corners for the ball.. he's not getting schemed open... He beats them with his talent when the ball is in the air Is he ever going to become a pro bowl wide receiver? Probably not... But McDermott & company develop players at a top five rate in the NFL... You can count on both fingers and hands how many under-heralded guys we have developed... You can probably count on one hand how many guys we failed to The smart bet says Coleman is absolutely going to improve Devonte Adams had 400 yards each of his first two years... Nobody thought that guy was going to turn into a perennial stud.. hard work and learning with a quarterback eventually pays off Worthy is a solid talented player... You literally cannot judge a draft class after one season lol worthy could literally get beat into Oblivion the next 3 years because he is 165 lb with a limited route tree -

Buffalo716 replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
Coleman average more yards per route ran, more yards per catch... Worthy averaged 6.5 yards per target , Coleman 9.7 yards per target And worthy also gets one of the best play callers in the last 30 years scheming him open.. those three stats I posted show keon outperforms him in categories and it's not worthy as head and shoulders better Coleman averaged 20 yards a catch.. battled back from injury and was already considered raw as a receiver.. he's going to improve -
Tom Brady moved better than Patrick mahomes inside the pocket His ability to move in a short area was really good in his peak... He probably threw some fast balls to gronk 70 mph Again you're just equating athleticism to just speed or in arbitrary combine stat But there's a lot of kinds of athleticism that transfer over to a football field including the stuff Tom Brady could do inside the pocket
-
Athleticism is athleticism.. track athletes are great athletes.. wrestlers are great athletes... Baseball players are great athletes.. it's 100% harder to hit a major league fastball or curveball than it is the cover Randy Moss as a corner Ask deion Sanders who did both.. ask Bo Jackson if it's harder to hit a major league curve or hit the a gap.. running the footballs easier It's a different type of athleticism but to say baseball doesn't take athleticism or Tom Brady doesn't have it is asinine.. this past year 65 high School baseball players were drafted to the MLB 550 from college To be one of the top 65 high school players you have to be on a world-class level of everything in baseball.. the skill, the technique, and the work ethic and athleticism Again athleticism doesn't equal 4.44 forty.. because athleticism comes in all weight shapes sizes and skills that's a fact But you said he didn't have an ounce of athleticism... he had enough athleticism to be one of only 4 high School catchers drafted in the country when he was 43,000 high school starting catchers.. he was one of the best four that's insane skill talent athleticism work ethic
-
Tom Brady may not have been Josh Allen but to say he didn't have an ounce of athleticism is bull crap The dude was an MLB draft pick.. out of high school Do you know how insane of a baseball player you have to be to get drafted out of high school? An insane athlete Athlete just doesn't mean 230 lb shredded muscle running a 4.3 40... Because sumo wrestlers are also athletes and they don't look it Tom Brady was an insane athlete to get drafted to two professional sports League

Only one team can win.. elway didn't win a super bowl for 15 years lol Peyton Manning won one super bowl in 15 years in Indianapolis And Josh is more beloved in Buffalo than any of those guys lol did you watch the oshei children's hospital video? Patricia Allen's name won't be on that wing if Josh bolted us .. guarantee that He has a legacy in Western New York he has to worry about because he's one of us now.. Jim Kelly never left either and he wasn't the good kid Josh Allen is

Starting linebacker.. one of their best pass rushers... And one of their best run stuffers Sweat Baun and Williams all played great this year and are going to get paid -
Why would anybody even put that into the stratosphere lol People who literally are negative Nancy and think about Josh Allen giving pagula ultimatums about staying or leaving are insane Like, he's literally getting paid hundreds of millions of dollars and only one team can win every year.. and he's been in the final four or eight a bunch Why would he be forcing himself out of a situation that helped make him If Josh gets drafted by the New York Jets he's closer to Sam darnold then he is current Josh Allen because how the Jets were ran

Dude he falls down at first jam contact and put up stats down 30 today lol Half his catches he's wide open because they don't care about him... I certainly don't care about that lol losing sleep over not drafting him is insane -

He didn't call him out he said he wished he did a little bit more and was a little disappointed after the injury A little disappointed in your top draft pick is not throwing him under the bus Coleman is a big boy he can take some criticism he's a professional -
Andy Reid just got out coached all night lol Bernie kosar isn't even Alex Smith level .. Reid got 27-year-old Alex Smith not 21-year-old Smith Bill belichick game plan stopped the bills greatest offense in NFL history.. and the greatest show on turf And he never got his ass kicked in the super bowl ... Belichick coached in 9 super bowls as a head coach... Never lost by more than eight Andy Reid just got out game planned out coached and whooped like belichick never did in a super bowl If the bills just got their ass whooped this bad in the super bowl.. the McDermott hating would be unreal rn

It's like what we did with poyer and hyde.. poyer was a browns castaway.. considered not good enough for a bad team Hyde was a good football player, considered a role player... McDermott took both and develop them into all pros.. the best of the best Baun is similarly of the same thing... But the rest of the league thought he was a one-year stop Gap player... The eagles get credit for putting him in the right position to turn him into a player That's player development... But in September if you said Baun or Nick bolton.. nobody here would say baun is the guy they'd rather have -

Eagles have guys like Zack Baun starting at linebacker Wasn't even a full-time starting linebacker for 4 years in New Orleans... Signed on a one-year 3 million dollar contract.. before this season nobody would have thought Zack Baun could be the starting linebacker on a super bowl team Drue tranquill Nick Bolton was definitely considered stronger than nakobe dean and Zack Baun 5 months ago Tranquil has a 20 million deal... The eagles had players who stepped up.. nobody thought Zach Baun was all pro level for years.. he outplayed his contract They're not trotting out Ray Lewis.. they trotted out Zach Baun and nakobe dean -

At the end of the day it's the scouts.. but it's the scouts that also found Christian Benford and Matt Milano bernard .. found Dane Jackson in the 7th round.. Levi Wallace undrafted Maybe the coaches are telling the scouts what they're looking for.. and it's not translating.. maybe they need to have them look for different types of players at the defensive line -

Better than me too that's the point lol people think if you're not a all pro you must sucks Do the eagles have a better roster , yes... Is it unbeatable? No lol if the Chiefs didn't play flat the narrative would be Reid the genius Now it's unstoppable eagles lol but they aren't unstoppable... They played better today -

This is where you clearly don't have the mind of a coach lol I'm just going to use an example... The worst running back in the NFL is closer to Barry Sanders then you are to him The worst linebacker in the NFL is closer to Ray Lewis then you are to that worst linebacker The talent gap between a 15 and 2 NFL team and a 14-3 NFL team is minute.. no matter what the names say on the back The talent gap between the fourth best outside linebacker and the 12th best outside linebacker is not far... The talent gap between the number one running back and the number 15 running back isn't even as big as you'd think on a one game scale A running back of Barkley talent doesn't even move a spread 3 1/2 points at the NFL level... You could win a super bowl with Danny woodhead and James White -

It's funny because people act like this is a massive talent disparity This is the NFL .. the talent Gap from the worst team to the best team is closer than people imagine... It's not far ... It's literally the top 1% of football players in the world People act like this is Alabama playing Chattanooga State... It comes down to execution The Tampa Bay buccaneers whooped Philadelphia early in the season the NFL comes down to who's playing the best football today
