  1. Egbuka is good but he's still going to be better in the slot and we have a bunch of those He has very limited exposure on the boundary and a small catch radius compared to his peers He's perfect for a rhythm offense like the dolphins
  2. Luther burden III Missouri Production fell this year but he is a natural hands catcher.. super explosive off the line creating instant separation .. offers yac.. plays bigger than his size.. not 4.3 fast like Jackson... Probably 4.43 but like Odell he goes up Matthew golden Texas Super savvy route runner for a guy with his electric speed, fights for balls at the top, creates quick separation but he shows a higg IQ in his route saviness Both could probably be had late first into the mid-second I don't know if you could say Eric moulds is really underrated He's always considered one of the top five wide receivers in bills history.. has 9,995 yards and was a dominant football player He had some consistency issues but Hall of Fame talent
  3. Josh's long ball was way worse his first two seasons than it was years 3 4 5 lol
  4. Unfortunately there's usually always a little bit of I'm the dog and I'm the best with the top wide receivers There's not a lot of Larry Fitzgerald's Most of the top ones will always have a little bit of Yap and dog in their game.. they just can't cause unnecessary drama They're not even close but yeah it's not like this board was slamming for Brian Thomas Jr We also didn't have the chance to draft him
  5. Honestly it was so long ago I don't even remember... Who did we pick? James Hardie
  6. Yes he would Lee Evans was a very very good wide receiver in his prime 6 ft tall, could run routes, he can jump and he had the burners
  7. I don't blame refs But it's ok to say they had bad spots in key moments 1 ref had 2 mistakes on 4th down
  8. Everybody wants somebody who has all the physical skills with the size But DeSean Jackson is a better deep threat than DK Metcalf.. he's a better route runner.. a savvier player .. has another gear when the ball is in the air I'll take to Sean Jackson over it Like I like DK but I would take DeSean Jackson over him I said Josh needs a DeSean Jackson He was never considered the best in the league lol I said Chase might be the closest guy to him to which I would take But we need the skill set of DeSean Jackson
  9. The line judge who also spotted the ball a yard differently from the side judge Also is in charge of calling Offside or neutral zone infraction On the tush push Kansas City had a defender clearly lined up in the neutral zone in clear direction of the line judge who refused to call that.. then had a spot a yard different than the side judge He literally had two mistakes on one play.. NFL officials should never be a yard off when the two are spotting.. and they definitely shouldn't miss a helmet in the neutral zone on fourth down
  10. They're not even close And yeah Jackson is one of the best deep threats in NFL history.. Worthy is a one speed pony.. he literally has none of the nuance or change of pace ability that Jackson has He's just really fast
  11. Diggs doesn't have the burners though He's fast enough not super fast for the NFL
  12. I just said there are multiple no calls on both sides throughout the game I watched the game three times There are terrible spots in all four quarters for the bills.. I did not see a bad spot for the Chiefs in the same vein I did see some no calls where they could have called The penalty on the bills but they didn't.. I'm not being biased when I did not see one bad spot for the chiefs The spotting was out of whack from the first quarter for the bills
  13. There's a lot of debate about what type of guy Josh needs... A big physical freak like DK... A Jamar Chase etc Look what Josh did with John Brown.. arguably our offense , passing wise has never been the same since Brown left He was much better than Gabe, reliable hands good route runner and burner DeSean Jackson mold is the exact type guy we need to get Josh.. whether it's in the draft or getting a chase like guy I made a thread here years ago about wide receiver nuance in the route running.. about how the best have varied speeds in the route running.. they don't just all run full speed throughout the route that's easy to actually stop Need nuance, change of pace, leverage Watch DeSean Jackson in the clip up top.. going through multiple speeds in his route... Setting up and leveraging the safety just to go from 12 miles an hour to 22 in an instant That's real savvy route running with great speed A prime DeShaun Jackson would turn Josh unstoppable... I definitely would take Chase over DK because of route saviness and I hope we get get Josh a savvy route runner with some Wheels because that will take our offense and josh to another level
  14. There are missed penalties on both sides of the ball throughout the game but spotting a ball is an absolutely critical part to football that nobody talks about 100% Chiefs had good spots while the bills had 7 or eight maybe even 9 iffy spots throughout the game That's a way to control the game 100% especially in a game of inches don't kid yourself
  15. Or they need to worry more about mahomes's legs in the postseason which would be a starter for me He's not going to throw for 450 yd in the postseason versus us.. you need to take away those 45 50 rushing yards that moves the chains That's the one thing we've never been able to stop Patrick mahomes legs But we can limit Lamar Jackson.. it comes down to the players not thinking he can beat them with their legs when he's one of the best improvisers in NFL history
  16. Same thing that maybe Greg Russo should have been paying attention to LOL The Kansas City Chiefs have had the same play calls on tape for three postseasons All the rollouts.. all the misdirection... All the pockets shifted right it's all on tape So when Greg says I haven't seen it he's just lying through his teeth because he took the inside route and got washed
  17. I would say that's the opposite.. if they were playing cover one man on first and 10 it would be a change We've been going cover one man on 3rd and long for 3 years We go combination coverage or cover three shells early.. cover one on third down Were heavily man on 3rd.. more zone dependent on the first two downs.. we just played a little bit more man early McD is Super man dependent on 3rd and passing for 3 years
  18. The bills have been becoming more man focused the last 4 years under McD Cover one on third down in passing situations has been our biggest usage 3rd and passing we go cover one man.. every coach knows that We're heavy zone on first down and some second... Heavy man on 3rd in passing situations
  19. You could find every single play on tape for the Chiefs in the last three seasons lol All of those stretch rollouts are on film that they beat us with on third and short.. all of their rolling rights are on film First of all professional football is 100 years old there are no new play calls.. everything has been used Second.. the Chiefs did not do anything new.. you could have watched film from the last 4 years and seeing those plays Just because they didn't run them week 1 through 17 doesn't mean they're not in their bag Which was also hyperbole Six play calls is not a big deviation If it was 18 play calls.. triple what you see, it would be a big deviation Six play calls is basically one per drive
  20. It's one thing if you're heavy zone you becomes 80% man 20% zone Sean McDermott playing 46% man coverage compared to his regular season totals is about 6 more man calls In the grand scheme of things 6 more man calls isn't surprising to any NFL level coach That's not a far deviation.. we've been begging Sean McDermott to play more type man coverage for 6 years Damned if you do damned if you don't
  21. Sean McDermott has been heavy zone for a decade plus as a play caller One game doesn't make a history one game doesn't make it a habit Heavy man for Sean McDermott is going from 65 zone 35 man.. to 55 zone 45 man ... The bills are ready for everything the chiefs defense has too lol The difference is they had a great play called on our last offensive play.. bills also had some great defensive calls just wasn't at as critical of the time We're basically divisional rivals we know and have seen every call It's who blinks.. they aren't showing any wrinkle we haven't seen and vice versa
  22. Except.. 95% of this board was sick and tired of McDermott's "soft" zone coverage Begging for more man-to-man And he ran more man to man this year than he ever has More complaints People complain when he runs zone people complain when he runs man
  23. I didn't say we have zero talent We don't have supreme talents We don't have two or three Hall of Fame players who are in their prime We have more talent than 80% of the league... But we don't have a lot of super high end talent talent We have a lot of good to really good And I'm pretty sure if you read what I said I'm saying Sean McDermott is a really good coach who maximizes what we have not that he's doing less with more He's a world-class developer who isn't getting enough to develop
  24. Sean McDermott maximizes talent 100% I won't even debate it he's a world class developer... It's the jimmies and Joe's not Xs and Os McDermott scheme is complicated world class and far from vanilla
