Is it still on DTV one more year? Or was last year it? (kind of funny....before i started with the ticket in 2001 or so in New England, I'd get to see the two Pats games on local tv, and the Jets HOME game on NY tv (in non HD!). Nowadays, with the primetime games we get, and with us often getting picked to be a national game even at the 1pm or 4pm slots....I could likely see 9-12 games for free next year. Sucks to pay just for the rest, but, the luxury of having the ticket on Sundays is pretty great. Bad national game on? CLICK!

The man is amazing, we catch him every time he is in our area, and the dude still tours like a champ!

Looks like this will have repercussions for all the "may issue" states. Much appreciated boys, from this CT resident. Self defense classes wouldn't have really helped either unless the dude develops some situational awareness.

Looking this up, it looks interesting (and possibly useful to me) to me. Hard to say I know, but do you feel it has affected your blood clotting? That seems to be the side effect they warn about.

I'm not sure how that fires Bills fans up that much...Iove the hit, and I don't root for guys to get hurt. But.....damn Brady got up like a terminator. He was clapping 3 secs later. When Josh shakes off a big hit like that it fires ME up (once I start breathing again).

Fun guy to watch play most of the time, and always exciting to watch. Hope he has an excellent, comfortable and safe second career ahead of him.

This 'Wilson has bulked' up and "Tua is really accurate, what an arm' type news reminds me of being a Bills fan just a few years ago. That is, being a fan, desperately clinging to ANY offseason pseudo-news that stokes the fires of hope. But EJ never did put it together, Maybin never did bulk up enough, etc etc etc.

It's basically the same thing I guess. Your driver's license or reg is normally only requested when you've already been thought to have done something wrong (traffic stop, etc). Permit would normally only be inspected by LEO if you have been thought to be doing something wrong/suspicious with a gun. So yeah just like lots of folks drive with no insurance illegally, it is an "after the fact" enforcement. Permits that expire at least can't be used to buy more guns and ammo, so it does give the state a chance to run a fresh background check, but again I am not sure they do. I am betting CT does but I could be wrong.

In CT they last 5 years. If you don't renew in time (only can renew within the last 6 months of your current permit), you get to take the course and start all over again, a 6+ month process for the last few years in CT. But I am not sure if when you re-up, they reassess the background check again. Seems like a good idea.

I heart that curly haired "traitor". Consistently and vehemently anti-war and anti-intervention. There are still a few out there.

Jeez I think there are states where if you use a fake gun in a robbery, they still enforce it as if it was a real gun.

I'm struggling with the idea of the gun-knife thing this guy had. As stupid as it is, I get having a fake gun--people think it's a REAL gun. Big gamble to call that bluff! People get held up with BB guns and ***** all the time. But that works for you right up until it doesn't. So what is the move then...guy didn't buy it as a real gun, you're now tussling and....you think you'll be able to get that knife out....or use it well....with a gun-frame as a handle? What a dumbass weapon.

I hear you man. I tend to have momentum in things like this and I do expect to lose it at some point...I'm trying different things to stay interested. Bike, boxing, yoga, straight weight lifting, etc. Nice thing is, you know you can do it, you've done so much already. Big ups to you man, and that is no joke. Give yourself lots of credit for the work you've put in, that's a damn good amount of weight you lost. IMO that also can help fire you up to go the next step. You've made big investments in yourself, too much to go backwards in a large way.

NIce, and very nice! That is the same app I use, easy and free. I honestly was too embarrassed to take the progress pictures each day as it offers to you....now I kind I wish I had. Took me three+ years but I went from 197 (with some bodacious ta tas) to 165 (just thinner) and now I am at 176 (but almost all new weight is muscle, and my boobies turned into lil baby pecs).

I may be old news here but I just watched the Heaven's Gate doc on HBO Max with the wife...very interesting. I had NO idea of the extensive backstory to all of that.

I'd throw in....get a weight/meal tracker app. I used mine heavily at first and it really showed me (as I did know all along but liked to pretend I didn't) how many BS calories i was fitting into my day. Once I saw that, I just got smarter, and stopped tracking meals (it was a pain but I learned the lesson). Now I just use it to track my weight and I still find it super useful. Keeps me on task and on target.
