I get that if he catches it with both feet while already in the end zone. That is, a receiver established position first. But when out of the end zone (or partially anyway, as he was, he only had ONE foot in the end zone) I thought (and even if wrong, still think) the ball should have to break the plane. On reviewing a better angle (how did they not have it during the game??) looks like he crossed the plane with the ball easily--there is a very clear shot of it from behind. For whatever reason during broadcast they kept showing that weird diagonal shot. Was driving me nuts.

I heard it the same way you did. In my recollection he didn't mention the plane or the ball at all. He essentially said his foot was in, so, TD. Didn't make sense to me either.

LMAO I mean the DP jokes, even back then (when perhaps DP wasn't so well known, this was like 98), were common. DP dough was really just white trash odd flavored calzones but they are kind of amazing at 3AM. My family member has tipped people to the degree they come back out and ask if it's a mistake, then they make a HUGE deal out of it (cuz he really overdoes it, 150% tip on a couple hundred dollar meal), and I feel like it was at least PART of his goal. I've dropped some tip bombs in my day for the right person but I just write it down or drop the bill, and leave.

In college my friends had a big box of porno VHS and they would offer tapes to the D.P. Dough delivery drivers as tips. I think they only got took up on it a few times...but was always the same guy who would take them. XD We also had a friend who was very...proud of himself, let's say...and would be letting something JUST hang out of his shorts to see if he could make the guy uncomfortable. Totally aside, I have a very wealthy family member...he overtips to ridiculous degrees just to see the look on people's faces. He thinks it's great but it gets kind of old.

Could be--but I honestly think if Bernie wasn't such a sheepdog/wimp, he could have gotten real concessions from the Democrats at times--they need his progressive wing and the votes they bring along. And I think THAT is still far closer to reality than actual reform....not that actual reform wouldn't be better! I'm trying to play in the world of the SEMI-possible, I guess! Hey fringes need to be represented too Ten! And again, I'd say if you can move the main agenda with your voting bloc, it is not necessary to win outright. You just help move the conversation and steer the other party. That's WAY closer to reality IMO (just one real leader with a following away, hard to stop as that can happen grassroots) than actual reform involving a Constitutional convention etc. In this way the main parties would have to stay more responsive and representative of the body of the people. Or at least, MORE people.

An interesting theory or whatever I heard is that idea of floors.....that is, Trump will always have HIS supporters, some people love him. So he'd never drop below X. Obama would always have his supporters, some people loved him. He'd never drop below X. So for some guys, there is a floor below which, you really can't drop below because that is your absolute diehards. The idea was, Biden has no floor, as no one loves him, nor did they ever, he was just put up as a "better than the alternative". He has no diehards. Wasn't something I had really considered from that angle (not that I consider polls a lot, but I heard it and said....hmm. that makes some sense.)

What's successful though? I think getting elected outright is a real longshot for sure but goddamn can't a third party hold out their votes to at least get some concessions from the main party they align closest with? Often, I get it, people just go "Nader! NADER" and everyone gets too scared to support any third party all the way (normally the leader, not the voters) . But it sure seems to me a stubborn third party leader with a stubborn base could get REAL concessions, not just lip service, by playing REAL hardball and threatening to withhold support, and for me at least, I'd call that successful politics too.

Sickening that ALL these scumbags haven't had their names published yet. Where is the full client list? How has some hacker group not gotten their mitts on it and released it? Anyone associated with that island and Epstein himself should be viewed as a potentially compromised person, let alone a criminal, and have their power reconsidered immediately. From former prezs to presidents of companies. Amazing this thing is likely just going to fade away.....

Every person exposed should sue the state in a class action suit. Deliberate or not (I am fairly sure it was deliberate) there needs to be accountability for government misuse of citizens' data. Don't just fire some intern, cash penalties.

This is not meant to be an anti or pro gun argument....the things people will get physical for, let alone kill for....wow. Just makes you sad to be a human sometimes.

I saw the commercial with my wife and I fanboyed out as I was unaware this was a thing....I believe my standing in her eyes diminished significantly. Not even showing her a compilation clip of Cornholio needing peepee for his bung hole helped. THIS is comedy lady!
