We've got a defensive-mastermind head coach who may be one of the best ever, who hired another defensive-mastermind once-head coach (also a once a key cog in arguably the most feared defensive ever) who also may be one of the best ever, to run that side of things almost entirely on his own. They are utilizing all that defensive genius to create the modern-day Monster of NFL offenses and we, as long-suffering Buffalo Bills fans, are getting to be the beneficiaries of a 'process' that is already starting to produce something very, very special. F--- YES!

Or maybe the OP is an undercover ref here to influence our opinion on the very questionable officiating? Hmm………..

If memory serves me, they got like 2 weeks of rest (maybe longer?) as reward for them completely disregarding the league's COVID rules. They were pretty well rested and the Bills were banged up a good bit and prob thought they weren't even going to play that game it got delayed so friggin' much.

Great points. I would be very confident that McD, Beane, and their teams are fully anticipating losing their top assistants sooner rather than later. Something tells me they have their eyes down the road and won't be caught off-guard by anyone leaving. Geez, it's just unbelievable how different feeling this current regime has us all feeling right now. So much dysfunction at One Bills Drive for decades, and now this? The Universe is smiling on Buffalo Bills world right now.

There is a song by UB40 called "Sweet Sensation" that was my theme song this last week of my family's beach vacation. It would be so awesome if someone could make a Buffalo Bills/Josh Allen video to that song. Personally, I am an idea guy but I have zero such skills for making something like that. I am absolutely certain that Bills fans would LOVE that song and how much it fits the Josh Allen experience so far. It would be such a killer stadium song like "Sweet Caroline" is for Red Sox. "Oh my sweet sensation. Oh oh what a strange emotion. You got love and devotion...."

Holy crap! You have absolutely nailed it, my friend! What an amazing way to put it. It's exactly why these guys all totally buy in. Because it's 100% for real, 100% genuine, and 100% Sean McDermott. And I think the same can be said for Brandon Beane for that matter. Let's not forget that. I mean, how fortunate can one place, fan base, whatever, be to have BOTH of these amazing professionals in the absolute prime of their lives/careers AT THE SAME TIME?!?!?!?!? IMO, there are really 3 huge questions, and for real we really need to start having this discussion now because they're that important: 1.) how large are the Josh Allen, Sean McDermott, and Brandon Beane statues going to be?; 2.) out of what material shall they be constructed?; and 3.) of course where are they going to be located?

And the King of the gamesmanship timeouts. So good at calling one in big moments on D so the other offense has to then bring out their second best play if you know I mean. He did it tonight and I could see the look on Mahomes’ face because he knew exactly what happened.

I guess Star's monster push up the middle right at the QB was "coverage." It's called teamwork actually.

Him taking last year off was the best thing for him and this team. He's super well rested and rejuvenated. All that time to let his body heal and reset has done wonders and that is quite evident in his play. Lovin' it! And, full disclosure, I was previously guilty of not really watching his play and judging him on what others were saying and what I saw on like two plays a game. So I'm not exactly a Star homer. His story is a great lesson for me to shut up and actually watch the tape before I try to form an original opinion.

This is a poster who has actually been watching the games vs barely watching and just regurgitating the opinions of others like so freaking many do on here. Ed O is getting doubled so much and just watch how much those two offensive linemen have to work to slow him down. The guy is so strong and tenacious. He definitely does his part to make things work.

Now my memory isn’t the best, but my sense is that LeGOAT is no dummy on here and has made some pretty good points at times. So I would agree with this and the general sentiment of this statement. Just sayin’

Interesting (maybe only to me) that there's been so many threads about the OL struggles, esp passing protection, but in reality it all goes hand-in-hand, one would think. Maybe it's just me and my totally amateur football eyes but when I see Singletary and/or Moss having crappy runs, I usually see a bunch of large guys in Bills uniforms getting pushed back into their way behind the line of scrimmage. The sucked last year in run-blocking and I don't see a world of improvement so far this year. And this is exactly why I did not want them to draft a running back in the first or second round this year. Without major blocking improvement, would not have seen much immediate return on investment no matter who they would have drafted.

Exactly. A big upgrade from J Brown and more durable. We gots loads of options this season.
