  1. Agreed that, although couldn't ID as Zay, it looked to me as if TT had primary read to his left before finding Clay. Again, thanks for the time and effort put into this.
  2. Mark Campbell would've caught it. EDIT: Anyone else care to give a ratio of Taylor/Clay fault on that play? To repeat, mine is 35/65 Taylor/Clay.
  3. Great post and many thanks! Agree with most points in it, too. Do take issue with the INT being totally on Taylor. Should have thrown it earlier, but a TE making the money Clay is making should probably hold onto a ball that hits his hands on the 1 yard line. If I had to ratio it, then I'd apportion 65% fault to Clay and 35% fault to Taylor on that play. Totally agree that while Matthews was open on the long YAC play, it was Taylor's positioning of the ball to the correct side that allowed Matthews to turn how he did and avoid the initial would-be tackler.
  4. Allstate should hire Aaron "Mayhem" Maybin to be the replacement when the current "Mayhem like me" guy retires. You're right - 185, 192, 194, and 184 - not a guy over 200 lbs!
  5. Do teams ever sign a LB with the thinking being he will be the equivalent to a goal line specialist HB? Sincerely asking; I think a guy who can come in and shut down the middle of the field in the red zone/goal line would be worth 1/53 of the roster.
  6. our run game vs their run D will certainly be a match-up of heavyweights
  7. Gotta hope McDermott is going to know how to attack and take advantage of those young CBs they trial-by-fire'd last year.
  8. Kaelin Clay can go deep. Also, re: needing a better TE2, I've thought O'Leary has been pretty solid so far.
  9. I'm assuming you don't count REC yards for this though... yeah Hunt still takes it.
  10. Dunno who that is on the 5 yard line towards the bottom of the picture, but he seems pretty open too. Maybe there's another defender out of frame.
  11. I feel like if Rex starts rubbing off (unfortunately have to clarify: figuratively) on his co-workers, then we're going to start seeing them coming back from commercial break with too few camera operators and someone's shoes missing.
  12. McCaffrey & Stewart v. McCoy & Tolbert I'm looking forward to it.
  13. Won't wow anyone stat-sheet-wise, but thought those couple of times Taylor slid in bounds towards the end of the game showed great understanding and awareness of the situation. QB stuff.
  14. I think it's still very much a game, but just that CAR has a clear edge. They were in the Super Bowl two years ago after going 15-1. Their weak division produced the NFC Super Bowl team that almost won it all. Their QB has won OROTY and OPOTY. Their ILB has won DROTY and DPOTY. Their coach has won COTY twice. And, home crowd intensity aside, home field advantage is still a thing. They're a good team with a lot of talent. They also took care of their Week One "gimme" a bit more handily than we did. Vegas favors them, albeit slightly. I think we can beat them. I just think they have a higher probability to win.
  15. CAR will likely be a loss, but their offense and Newton specifically looked rusty. Never know. DEN will be tough, but at home and they don't have much in the way of a QB. Good scouting for tonight. ATL looked anything but unbeatable versus CHI, so again we could pull it off. NFC South familiarity for McDermott. CIN looks very beatable. Shut out by so-so BAL team at home. 2-2 is not out of the question and is a realistic outcome for the next 4.
  16. Watch us beat the Panthers and Falcons, but lose to the Broncos and Bengals.

  18. Is this challenge-able?
  19. My guess: Jets a mess. Big day for Shady, Clay, Zay Bigger still? Sean's D.
  20. I second that and say it goes to O'Leary.
  21. Jordan Matthews (chest) is practicing in full for Week 1. This puts J-Matt on track to suit up Sunday against the Jets. Matthews has an excellent chance to lead the Bills in targets this year, though we'd expect Buffalo to use a run-heavy scheme featuring workhorse LeSean McCoy. Sep 6 - 4:10 PM http://www.rotoworld.com/recent/nfl/9420/jordan-matthews Edit: Available for the regular season. Like he has been 96% of the time over 3 years.
