Do you let your adult children sleep in your bed?
GoBills808 replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in Off the Wall Archives
***** no. They sleep outside in the dirt. I'm already paying their room and board. These dogs don't know how good they have it. -
You need to pay for talent. If you look at comparable guys playing similar roles, he's not that far off imo from what his value is in this defense. He's not Geno Atkins or Fletcher Cox, maybe more a Gerald McCoy, and all those guys make more. Considering the Bills had to bring him in as a FA and probably got bid up on his price, I think he's paid just about right.

Eagles officially choose Wentz over Foles
GoBills808 replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Obvious move imo. Foles, for all the hype, is a proven mediocre QB. A lesser Flacco in my mind. Wentz is the clear favorite there. -
They went from 24th in the league in 2017 defensive YPA to 9th in 2018. No. That idea that the rush defense didn’t improve is incorrect.

It's Miami! If you live there it's practically mandatory in the workplace.

Oh heck, that's just 'too much cocaine' face. Happens from time to time, nbd.

The guy said he's going to be towing 5-8,000 lbs which is kind of right in the midsize wheelhouse for capacity...the new F150s are rated for like 5000-13,000 , I think the Tundra (which I like overall as a truck, Toyotas in general make good pickups but for a pure work truck they don't have a diesel so ehhhh) can do 10k...the thing is, if you're consistently putting 8,000 lbs in the trailer there's going to come a time when you need to haul 15-20,000lbs for some job and regardless, I would rather have a little too much truck than be constantly close-to-maxing out my capacity especially on a gasoline engine.
-
Don't get a lifted truck if you're trying to tow...they build em to be able to work straight off the floor, any mods you do are going to impact capacities and performance. Diesels just are overall better for doing the stuff you need a truck to do. They're generally more reliable engines, last way longer, and as far as towing they generate a ton more torque so if you ever need to do a bigger job than you thought you'll be glad for the extra muscle.

Get a diesel. My recommendation would be a Ford w/ the 7.3l or a Dodge, any year is pretty good for the Cummins as Boyst62 says. I drive a 2000 F350 w/ about 300,000 miles on her and haul a lot of weight both in the bed and on trailers.

Great in House of Cards too. My only thing w True Detective was that they should have ended it after first season. For me it was the single best piece of television I’ve ever seen...and the second season almost ruined it. It was that poorly executed. If this one isn’t any good, Pizzolato should rethink his approach. They dumped season 2 way too to fast due to demand and the product suffered...writing a mess, storyline awful, as boring as the first season was compelling. Now trying to wrangle a successful third w/out Fukunaga who was instrumental in the success of season 1...I don’t have high hopes. Would love to be wrong.

I think we all know what’s going on with his other digit.

Nice. I’d be good w a lot of that but I don’t want to go into the year with McCoy as RB1.

AFC Divisional Playoffs: Chargers at Pats* 1:05pm CBS
GoBills808 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Significantly more. This is about a competent team and coaching staff abusing an ill-prepared game plan and poor fundamentals/effort, NOT a referendum on how great this Patriots team is. -

Patriots really aren’t this good. Chargers are simply laying an egg.
