I think they signed his initial contract w/expectations of a steady cornerstone piece for a d line they needed to rework...as such overpaid some for stability and familiarity. But it worked out as defense has flourished. They'll probably move on from him sooner rather than later but I watched a bunch of Lotulelei tape last year and for what they needed, he brought. Worked out for both sides.

Yes but when they restructured his deal it was pretty much assumed it was with the intent of being able to get out after the next season...the opt out was what pushed that forward one more year.

His point (I believe) is simply saying 'Florida did better than New York' using one single statistic, and without any meaningful context as to why one state might suffer different COVID outcomes than another, is in itself a political statement.

I think Singletary has a good shot at solidifying a full time RB1 role. I have my doubts about Moss. I don’t really think either will get a big second contract with the Bills.

Yeh I've never seen an RB get touted for his power and yet doesn't hit the hole on balance. Running over college DBS is one thing but vast majority of pro backs have to make hay between the tackles one way or another.

He also never played with a QB who was worth a damn, teams pretty much could load up to stop run and he still produced. Easily best back ever imo.
