27 would be equal the most scored against KC this season if you thought we were going to put up a bunch of points yesterday dunno what to tell you

pretty telling that had we surrendered yet another late game collapse to give up the losing TD you think the conversation would have been about a missed throw on offense tbh

I'm not saying this to make anyone mad or be provocative. But I don't think I've been wrong on McDermott since he lost me at 13seconds. People got big mad when I called him a fraud this off-season. That word has now been revealed to be used liberally in description of him. People got big mad after week4 when I said he wasn't very bright. That's almost unequivocally true at this point. Is there confirmation bias wrt this article and how I've viewed McDermott for the last 2 years, absolutely. But it rings 100% dead center accurate to me.

That's because you haven't read the article which says 'Multiple sources indicate that McDermott was especially harsh toward Hall and paid him a salary so low it was insulting.' So since we're making up stories, maybe the wideouts all hated McDermott so much they decided to stick it to him for mistreating and underpaying their position coach and buy him a gift that was sure to drive McDermott crazy.

'...McDermott told his staff he pays them to be a coach. Not a friend. Other coaches could not believe his cold response.' is the quote wrt to Hall. You thinking it's a completely valid and reasonable explanation that McDermott was in fact worried about the perception of bribery from his million dollar WR room to their position coach is bonkers in context...which you would know if you had read the article.
