  1. Best efficiency metrics already exist Among them any/a, 538 nflELO, EPA, value over avg etc etc
  2. People are fascinated by whatever they see flashing on TV And lmfao that the INTs are the part that's 'behind the curtain' How about TDs/game And he is at the top of most important categories and worst in very few
  3. How could I possibly ignore the INTs lol You bring them up every chance you can
  4. It doesn't matter to these folks They already don't care that Allen scores the most points in the league, or generates the most offensive value, or has one of the highest CPOE, or any number of metrics that put him at the top of the NFL rn...they also won't be satisfied if he isn't also lowest turnover rate in the league Nothing but being at the absolute top of every statistical category, every single game of every single season is acceptable
  5. Burrow and the Bengals appear to have similar or slightly worse record in games where their defense allows 20+ points It's interesting but it doesn't say what you think it does
  6. Let me disabuse you of that then There's so much more I consider relevant to QB quality than record
  7. I don't have a problem being wrong😂😂I don't even think I'm trying to be right here, I'm just looking for some data
  8. Just looking at Bengals doesn't seem much different from bills
  9. Just how that stacks up against the rest of the league if you have the time👍👍
  10. If teams trade QBs eagles win by 40
  11. No, this is how you use data And now QBwinz 😂😂 I'll see myself out
  12. Ask him why Hurts is paid more and turned the ball over more in that game😂😂 Allen is 9th highest paid QB Bass is either 4th or 5th highest paid kicker
  13. I'd be more interested in how those stack up to league averages tbh
  14. Can we do last 3 years for everything's sake
  15. Mac Jones is worse And no, a pick on your own 30 is not an automatic 7points for the other team
  16. It's not inexplicable Wilson will 'outplay' a couple good QBs because their defense is so solid, Chiefs game another example And getting outplayed by Mac Jones the way Allen got outplayed by Mac Jones is an indictment of your defense not your offense
  17. They were sloppy on the switch tho right
  18. This tracks I actually think this + some derivation of usage like %of total offensive production (yards and TDs altho that would be counting TDs twice I suppose) would be a relatively meaningful metric
  19. are you including playoffs or no
  20. Last 3 years would be more predictive imo
  21. That's the point of this exercise If you put Allen's total TD/INT up he's going to fare really well because he is a TD machine If you go total TDs/turnovers (or INTs+fumbles) he still does ok but not as well obviously The context is how much he's asked to do wrt offensive production/surrounding talent/schem coaching etc etc vs his peers He's still top tier no matter how you slice it imo
  22. I think it's appropriate to list total fumbles as opposed to fumbles lost tbh Once the ball is on the ground it's basically luck as to who recovers it
  23. Not exactly on topic but close enough- The Bills are turning the ball over at a lower rate per game than the Chiefs and Dolphins We are also in +territory wrt takeaways/turnovers, Chiefs and Dolphins both in the red It's just been a weird season overall
  24. It reminded me a little of the second TD in the 13second game tbh No switch but still defense in man zero
  25. Some of it really just variance Don't know if anyone watched the Texans Jags game but Stroud threw Tank Dell the same pass vs the same DB that Allen went deep to Diggs in London, Dell made the contested catch and vs us the DB made the contested INT
