  1. ngl grilling isnt as foolproof as my method ive been developing for a couple yrs now get your steak to room temp and then s&p throw it in a hot cast iron on stovetop w butter and smashed up garlic cloves for about 1 min/side, basting the whole time then put the cast iron into 400degree oven, 5-7mins depending on how you like it take it out and put it on cutting board, let it sit for about 10mins
  2. Diggs, Brown, Beasley all had career numbers playing here. Davis got his bag too heck Allen made Robert Foster look like an NFL player for a season
  3. yeah he had multiple future HoF on offense and a defense to match thats a pretty tough rewrite of history
  4. Again I have to reiterate - Allen has never had a top 3 cap hit. He's never had a top5 cap hit. He's never even been close tbh
  5. If Brady runs him as much as he did last yr it's going to happen imo
  6. For whatever reason bills fans have a real aversion to the wideout position in particular and basic understanding of logic in general lol There was someone arguing before the draft not to take a wideout w a top10 pick...because no top10 drafted WR has won a super bowl😂😂
  7. Yeah I'm guessing OP didn't know where Allen stacks up in terms of AAV before he wrote this He's likely to fall out of the top10 this coming yr...his salary in comparison to the rest of the league should be MORE reason to spend on WR, not less
  8. rounding has nothing to do w it...if you walk through 5.25 parking spaces you are in the 6th space its meaningless because, among other things, top 5 is a completely arbitrary cutoff super bowl 50 featured the 6th highest QB cap hit in Manning and the 3rd highest cap hit at WR in Demaryius Thomas
  9. So not to be pedantic but that doesn't average a top5 cap hit either And either way OP is clearly talking about this season...which is well outside the top 5 Fact of the matter is Allen has never even been close to a top5 cap hit for QB
  10. From what I saw of ravens he was good last year and as importantly he looked engaged Yes he is older and not as physically capable but he's still got the complete repertoire of an NFL wideout. It's not a Davis situation where the guy's ability isn't commensurate to his spot on the depth chart...similar to Sanders who played a very useful WR3 role in the 2021 offense, a guy like Beckham Jr can definitely contribute in the right offense imo
  11. Because to admit that he'd probably walk in here as WR1 would mean maybe things aren't as buttoned up as people have convinced themselves they are Because Baltimore also has an AllPro TE and TWO first round picks at WR to spread the ball around
  12. And defensive tackles were 240
  13. I don't hate this guy at all tbh He's historically productive and entertaining to watch as any Great for the league
  14. Not sure about that But I will say during and after the Dorsey firing McDermott spoke a lot more about offense thani can previously remember
  15. I do actually think it was the plan all along I think it's a mistake, but I believe that Brady is going to execute the kind of offense McDermott wants
  16. which is to say its as safe as can be imo allen's 10x more likely to ask for a trade than ask for new coaches/FO
  17. agree on fast enough, there are a lot of different ways to win your route than just pure fast. understanding leverage and body control vs nfl dbs is at least as important as straightline speed hoping this kid can pick it up quickly...get adam henry in his ear as much as possible and maybe we found mike evans comp
  18. i think they were managing his minutes in the regular season tbh chiefs play above the rim rn
  19. that doesn't really make me feel better considering last season they were counting on Sherfield and Harty i mean at this point it honestly feels like we do this w the WR room every offseason
  20. the answer imo is that either the QB or the OC (HC if he's an offensive guy) defines the offense thus far Allen is and has been several orders of magnitude a better QB than whatever OC we've hired. that's why there's never been a consistent philosophy or team building strategy on offense...doesn't matter if it's Daboll/Dorsey/Brady, they add their own unique perspective but the focus is still on maximizing Allen's physical abilities because his talent is so overwhelming superior to their own.
  21. a fast 40 time i meant
  22. be grateful for that if he was fast we wouldn't have been able to draft him
  23. you think they've earned consecutive seasons out of the playoffs? in the AFCE w Allen at QB? that is generous
