  1. Agreed. He is still a rookie, so let's cut him some slack. Only way to get better is to keep playing and working to improve. But, drafting him was probably still a good move as we needed more pass rushers. Hard to get everything you want in the first two rounds of the draft!
  2. Can we Nick Wrong's response to this? Has he left his Mom's basement for work, yet? (How he even HAS a job is beyond me!)
  3. Yep, just like in 2003 when we destroyed them on opening day!! And they go on to win the SB that year. And we won 6 whole games. Yep, opening season games are a great prognosticator of what's to come! 🤪
  4. Well, no s**t, Sherlock!! But, the PLAY was the same, just not executed as well. That's the point. And, yeah, we could have (should have) did a QB sneak with our 6'5" QB, but that wasn't the OP point for posting.
  5. I was going to get tickets to this game, as my son was off from school that Monday. But, my A/C went out Friday, so I spent the money on my comfort and not my aggravation!
  6. Thanks for posting that! The comparison is spot on. The reason it failed yesterday was solely on Gilliam. Had he made more of an effort to block and not just casually come of his stance, I think this is a big gain. But, you can't let that happen!!!!
  7. They said there wasn't going to be any math. I don't even drink and I'm drunk! On to Miami!! Fish fry time!!
  8. I thought the pipeline was only one direction. Since when do we send Bills players south? WTH Beane!
  9. But, seriously, who does??? (Asking for a friend...........) 🤣🤣🤣
  10. I went through the whole thread and didn't see these two listed: 1. Pick 6 by JJ Watt on EJ Manual. Absolutely hated that. 2. Stupid "Hail Murray" against the Cards last year! Crushing defeat after we HAD that game won. But, besides "Wide Right" and "Music City", the most cruel play that I distinctly remember watching is still the Leodis McKelvin play. Seriously pissed off for a long time after that because, like the Cards game mentioned above, we HAD those bastards and should have beat them that night! Absolutely hated that play and was glad I found McKelvin's address that night and used the last of my spray paint!
  11. Wasn't aware of him before the draft, but I really haven't paid much attention this year. That being said, I like the pick. Watching his highlight reel, I noticed that he tends to watch where the ball is at all times and sheds the block to go after the ball. That was the thing that I noticed the most: getting off his blocks and attacking the person with the ball. I like his size, too. A couple of sacks he got was because he stretched that big frame out to reach for the QB. Either reaching in from the edge or as he's falling down getting blocked and reaches out to trip-up the QB. I think he might do good against a running QB.
  12. Dang, you are so right! I finally decided I "needed" LG's OLED TV for the living room. Waited for a good sale and bought one. I then proceeded to call DirecTv and ask about getting the 4K boxes for my new TV. I was quoted $799!! I'm like, "For What?!?!?!?". The "privilege" of paying them more money for 4K? So stupid.... Like many have said, if it weren't for the Ticket, I'd not have cable anymore. Most of what we watch is either on Netflix or Amazon Prime. I've got all the HBO's, Showtime's, etc and I rarely watch anything. It's all either stuff I've seen and won't waste time watching a second time or original programming that just plain sucks. HBO peaked with The Soprano's; they haven't done jack since. AMC with Breaking Bad, Walking Dead, Better Call Saul has bested them. Netflix is in an entirely different universe. And, as was mentioned, all the major networks are putting their content into their own steaming services. So, the days of "cable" are numbered for sure. WOW - I just realized I hit 1,000 posts with that one! woohoo!!! LOL!!!
  13. I had totally forgotten about that, but, yeah, what great fortunate that decision brought us!
  14. Like many here, I forgot he was even on the team. He looked good when he played, but I'm thinking there are better options.
