I CAN'T WAIT til the Ravens come to Buffalo
foreboding replied to JerseyBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I dunno, his numbers don't seem gimmicky. I think Lamar is the fastest guy on the field and can sling the ball. Big, accurate armed guy. When you have that going for you, it is hard to defend. He doesn't have to make multiple reads, the offense is built for him . Plus they got a punishing bruiser for an RB. -

Game Thread 1st Half Bills vs Browns

Wow. Let's hope this inspires the offense. Heartbreaking if your a browns fan, demoralizing. -
A win is the only status that matters. Who cares about attention. We get that when we hey to the playoffs and win.

Clear Sign Beane Doesn't Think We Are Ready

Since Vonn Miller and DeAndre Hipkins weren't available, he wanted joe schmo and his brother steve. -
You are missing the point, missing the entire target, in fact. The process is simply an approach, a mindset toward effort and growth. Analyzing mistakes and improving. It has zero to do with whether or not we have the right qb, wr etc. Culture is critical and if you cant see that, allow me to introduce you to Rex Ryan, Adam Gase or Jay Gruden.

Eagles Message Board Quick Takes

If the line is coming down, people are taking the eagles. You add points to induce bets on the dog. -
R Talbot (via ESPN) - bills on the hunt for a WR
foreboding replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
WR and QB require chemistry, it does not happen overnight. Unless you got a Tom Brady throwing or a seminal talent: ala Antonio Brown, I think a mid-season WR trade is very likely to yield little, and we know AB ain't comin' here--thank God. Two firsts for a blue chip WR seems insane to me, even a single first, unless it is a Mike Evans type, but personally, I think that guy is so full of himself, tends to be a malcontent and does not get separation. His talent is undeniable though. If we want to help this team, we get a legit pass rusher, another linebacker to backup Milano or look for value, high possible upside cast-offs. But every new addition means someone has to go. Two firsts for a certain DE/LB in Denver, that is a pool I'd swim in, maybe. -
Bill will win by 10. Eagles depleted secondary and the swag is gone.

I think he is. His lack of passion for the work required will be more evident as his superhuman skills deteriorate.
-
I think this merely demonstrates that on any given Sunday... but also these teams are winning with these backup QBs and as such I don't think this is an indictment of the Texans. That said, I agree they are not yet consistent, but with Desean, anything is possible.

This is awesome. Did you see the interview he did this week? The guy is so real, I love it. He's like, "Yeah it was cool being home in Houston. but Grandma is using my old bedroom now, so I don't have my own bed. I want to go back to my house in Buffalo." Too funny, I love that dude. He is going to be a fixture here for years to come.

Interest in trading for Marcus Mariota?
foreboding replied to prissythecat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You like him better than our team guy, Barkley? Would you be willing to upset the applecart by tossing Barkley over the side? If keep all three, who do you want to cut? -
THey throw the flag too quickly. Last night was absurd. Flowers and the Lions have every right to be super pissed. Those were big calls that gave the Pack life.

Seems about right, crazy the normally high ranked teams beneath us. Rams, Eagles, Cowboys etc- https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/27839117/week-7-nfl-power-rankings-1-32-poll-plus-every-team-biggest-weakness Week 6 ranking: 10 Biggest weakness: Turnovers It's a fixable problem, but the Bills' 11 turnovers are tied for fifth in the NFL -- which is an obvious ball and chain for an offense ranked fifth in average time of possession, ninth in first downs per game and 11th in yards per game. If Buffalo takes better care of the ball, it will be a dangerous team given the strength of its defense. -- Marcel Louis-Jacques

Unfortunate for Carolina? It seems they found away to get rid of "Look at Me" Newton for a capable new qb. Rivera's long reign will continue.
