Depth is a big part of how good teams get wins despite the huge attrition a year brings. Our guys get this and are adding it everywhere. Guy goes down... and if you still have a legit NFL starter, needless to say but I will; your chance of winning week in and week out, increase dramatically.

Seems there are good QB's all over that scoring scale. Not sure what it means based on that.

He is one of the top 35 QB's in the world though and that will get you paid!

I like that kid a lot, good vision, ability to make guys miss, can deliver a hit and has a great first step. He is gonna be good.

This is great. Jets make a splash but never learn, they will be right back here in 2-3 years whereas Beane has retained so much flexibility.

I have thought about this a bit as well. Keeping shady make sense. 1. Improved O-Line, only Barkley could have run through our line last year, why not give Shady another try with real blockers 2. Cap is in great shape, no reason to mess with his $ 3. If players see that the Bills are honoring the deal with a "good soldier" even if aging superstar, it bodes well, Coach and FO rep matters alot and our boys are building a solid rep

Me too. Hockenson is a skill player with true elite level talent, in a draft that is not that heavy on them. But Oliver? He is a beast. With his effort, size and speed - he would be the center of our D for a decade. Hopefully one of them are there.

Good post- I think that the primary reason for our division, the AFC East's downtrodden state is not just your "garden variety" or "vanilla bad" poor management, it is the bad management uniquely created through the constant turmoil of being dominated by a dynasty year-in and year-out; our division has been a place where promising flames of hope are destroyed by the evil empire. Being in this division therefore, tends to wear out welcomes quickly. GM's, Coaches and QB's just aren't all that brilliant when facing the Patriot machine. However, it seems that even the paragon of the NFL, the Pats owner has crossed some sort of odd line and perhaps, just maybe... they are in the their final days... but is it one, two or three more years? I mean they did just win it all...again.
